I use baselayers primarily to go under my work top for comfort and warmth but I do sometimes also wear a compression top when I am working out outdoors. I usually buy the main brand associated with this type of 'Under Attire' so in comparison I would say that this is similar in sizing, I am 5'9 and 200lbs and a large fits well with enough compression to give support without feeling like you are being squeezed. The fabric seems thinner than the competition and has more give, but that may just be my perception, however it does not feel any less of a quality garment.Not strictly speaking a downside, but the weird thing with this top is the sleeve length,once it's on and you've wriggled around a little the sleeves finish right around your elbow joint rather than across the bicep like a normal tee, on the one hand this does stop the hem from squeezing across your upper arm, but then again all it does is move the problem down to your elbow. So, for a workout sesh that gets the old guns pumped this top is ideal, however, for longer term wear it might prove irritating if it rubs on the inside of your elbow joint.Finally, as anyone used to compression tops will tell you, they can be erm, interesting, to put on and take off, even more so when you are tired and sweaty with jelly arms, this top however takes the fun to a whole new level purely because of those sleeves. very difficult to describe but suffice to say, don't try and put this top on in front of anyone whom you ever want to respect you. Think of putting on a normal tee that has had the sleeves sewn up and you'll be halfway there.Good quality garment, does what it says on the tin, little bit of a strange design but not necessarily a bad one. On top of everything else though this is an absolute steal at the price. Recommended.

Bought this top as I'm a road cyclist but don't find proper cycling tops very comfortable.. After trying the top on I immediately found the sleeves are down to the elbow which was one of the reasons I bought it .. Extremely light and feels softer to wear than cycling jerseys ..apart from having no rear pockets like cycling jerseys which I can live without really glad I purchased this too and will definitely be buying again .. Very good quality with uv protection of 50+ should be excellent for hot summer days ..

This is a fantastic compression top. The fit is close without being tight, and is especially comfortable around the arms (where tightness is often an issue with short sleeve compression).Moisture is drawn out well to the extent that you barely notice it's there in the first place, and it keeps you as warm enough.Personally I prefer the long sleeve version of the same product, but at this price you can't go wrong. Five star.

Very happy with this; just wish I didn't need to order an XXL.Does seem to mould my torso, despite its XXL "nature", into a certain form; everything seems tighter, more under tension, which feels good for exercising.Hoping, with this shirt's help, I'll soon look like the model in the picture (and hence have to buy the same top - but in a different size).Any questions please ask me.

I've had a lot of use out of this compression top. Perfect for wearing under a vest on colder days when running. The sleeve length is just what I was looking for. It covers your arms down to the elbow. The material is quite thin, so it doesn't offer massive amounts of compression, but it does feel good.

Great for offering layered protection against the elements now we are heading into the winter months. Before wearing this when running in the Scottish weather my chest would often get too cold but wearing this with my usual running layers atop it has been much improved.

I usually wear small to medium clothes so I bought this in medium.Even then it is so tight that it restricts movement almost. The quality is still very good and it does keep me warm at the gym and it's good with sweat too.Wish I got a large size though!

Buy Big and you wont be disappointed perhaps a size above your normal please bear in mind these tops are sports base layers so are very thin wont retain warmth but good under shirts etc if going out on a cold evening

Great fit, keeps you warm when you need it & helps you keep cool when the going gets a bit hotter. The longer arms help keep biceps & triceps warm as well - the perfect base layer for Crossfit.

Nice compression top by adidas well made tshirt version.good fit and looks good with tech fit on back collar . Brought another as I was pleased with the fit and quality good price too !!

Good fit and good compression. The sleeves are an interesting length - much longer than a tee-shirt - they come down to the elbows. The shirt is also long - which I like. Good quality.

Great price, fit as expected. I bought this for tough mudder and now use for running football and cycling. no point in paying more for under armour!

Great price. Great baselayer for summer with some compression. I'm a 41" chest and went for XL - if in doubt go up a size.

Good material and fit around shoulders and arms. For me I would have liked longer of the body. Still a good purchase.
