I did not bought these on amazon, as the price is a bit high here.I first stumbled on these in 2004, while skiing: the socks I had with me at the time were not working properly, as there was some icing blizzard that created a thin ice crust on you, and this ice crust was slowly melting inside my shoes, creating a humid mess inside. I went to a specialist shop, paid an hefty price for these, and all my problems were solved.Back home, I stocked on these, as they are very good for skiing, but also work well for light trekking, skating, or simply to stay warm when your job requires you to be outside. All in all a very good and versatile product.Tip: do not wash in the washing machine,

Great socks but can only use them with wellies or larger boots as they are rather thick.
