I recently decided to rent out this game, as I wasn't quite sure what to make of it from the various reviews I had read. I'm glad I chose to try it, but at the same time I also was extremely glad that I didn't buy it. Smackdown vs Raw 2007 has many positive points however mixed with these are some very negative points aswell. Some of these are listed below.POSITIVES-Reasonably good looking gameplay, if a bit hard to pick up at first.-Graphics are like those never seen before on a wrestling game and look particularly amazing when looking closely at superstar's faces.-Entrances for most superstars look brilliant,the characters moving consistantly like their real life counter-parts (most of the time!)-Create an Entrance mode is also worth having a go at.-Season mode and General Manager Mode have improved, making the lifespan of Smackdown vs Raw 2007 a lot longer than it would otherwise be.NEGATIVES-Game play can be very slow at times and even boring at times. The creators have clearly decided to go with realistic gameplay which is fair enough but melts away the fun factor of Smackdowns 1 to 5. This slow gameplay takes the form of endless grapples, resulting in a lot of time being wasted.-The introduction of a Stamina bar (again, to add realism apparently) is not welcome. I hate having to stand and recharge my superstar's stamina bar (or risk falling over every move) after having only run halfway round the ring! Big Vis might require a minute or two to catch his breath after a ten minute match, but guys like Triple H and Chris Benoit are supposed to be fit!-Why do weapons disappear after they've only been used a few times???-The crowd still look immensely poor.-JR, the King, Michael Cole and Tazz have clearly been drinking as often the commentary does not match up with the action in the ring. The Rock Bottom is NOT the People's Elbow and I have NEVER seen Umaga do the 619!!-My biggest negative point is not to do with the gameplay. Neither is it a flaw that the game designers could have ironed out. The biggest downside of Smackdown vs Raw 2007 is that the rosters of the WWE are extremely poor at this point in time. I personally have lost interest and feelings of any kind towards today's superstars as they are simply not as entertaining as they used to be. My feelings have, unfortunatley, transfered onto this game. So as sure as we all miss the 'If ya smeeeellll's of the Rock, the 'Give me a Hell Yeah's of Austin and the 'Shut the Hell Up's of Chris Jericho, I miss the superstars that I could really relate to. The Superstars of the mid to late Attitude Era. I simply have no sympathy for the Cena's or Batista's of today's WWE. This game-wrecking fact is however, saved by the fact that legends, such as the Rock, Hulk Hogan, Brett 'The Hitman' Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin are available to unlock. This, I did VERY much appreciate.This may seem like the positives are outweighed by the negatives, but this game is at least worth a try for any fan of the WWE.To sum this game up, if you're looking for realism, then this is your game. If you're looking for a game with fun factor then look to an older Smackdown title. I only wish that these graphics had been available with the roster of 'Smackdown 2: Know Your Role!' There are no more faults on this game in terms or gameplay than there is found in every other yearly revised Playstation 2 title (such as the FIFA's). This game is let down by the poor rosters of the WWE today. That said, the WWE is still better than TNA (ooo cheap shot!). 'And that's the bottom line coz...!!!'

I like the new Smackers, the buttons are new but if u change them in options to "Type D" then it goes back to the old buttons and then u just have to work the new things for yourself, I've only had it 1 weekend but I like it, its good arse!!, theres an extra belt to go for the smoking skull belt, the only negative I've noticed so far is that I can't find Vinces Music but I'm sure it'll turn up cos hes in the game

First of all the packaging and the delivery is excellent, thanks to Amazon. The game i got is brand new and orignal PS2 disk. Smackdown vs Raw 2007 is awsome and more addictable game in PS2 especially the tag tournament with multiple players with your friends. Great game for such low price. If you own a PS2 , you gotta try this game for sure..Great graphics and good control..

Bought this game because i had 2006 and didnt expect it to be a lot better than 2006 but i was pleasantly surprised. rey mysterio still has his awesome entrance and there are some superstars like The Great Khali that i didnt even know existed! this game is well worth the money. i suggest that you buy 2006 and 2007 and decide for yourself but ive made mine!!

Fantastic game! Excellent grapics. The stoyline is great and you can play general manager mode which allows you to make matches and try and beat the other brand in ratings! This has all the players and all the matches you want to play in! I love this game! I have just got 2 words for you BUY IT!

Obviously the best wrestling game to date. Great to play, addictive multiplayer with friends and the strong grapples are excellent. Only bad thing is the quality superstars that have been left out, like Jeff Hardy and Paul London. You can make them on create a wrestler though, so it's okay

Smackdown v Raw 07 is great espechially the locker room and interactive hotspots. It is good but the roster needs to be more updated King Booker is still boring old booker T and no Sprit Squad the legends are great though

This 2007 version is just amazing I've got a version of it and its got more and more weapons more matches and new superstars if you don't have it I suggest you get one.
