Now I am not the biggest fan of beat 'em up games but bought this one cos it was so cheap and also the reviews I had read made it seem like a really good game.And boy are they not wrong. One of the differences between this and normal beat em up games is that the arena in which you fight in is really quite large...and interactive. This means you can wander off from your opponent to pick up health bonuses or implements to either throw or bash your opponent with. What could be more fun than being King Kong and lacing Godzilla round the head with an antenna you have just ripped off the top of a building?The environment is so interactive that when you throw your opponent into a building it will

the kind of game where anything goes and so much the better.a couple of the characters are obviously modelled on two of the most famous monsters in film history; namely king kong and godzilla. a great idea all the same.there is a choice of several characters where the idea, is to beat the other in a good old-fashioned punch-up. you can go one on one or have a free for all. there are some good moves to perform as well as picking up various objects to use against your opponent; car, part of a building, a plane etc.for me, there are two major bonuses; you can smash the buildings around you and also climb them. those moments really make it worthwhile.the only slight drawback,

When i first saw WotM i thought "that looks like fun" and by jiminy it is fun! Excellent graphics and sound, the whole game has a wonderful fifties-monster-movie feel to it. As with most beat-em-ups greatest fun is to be had in 2 player mode (in fact a friend of mine who "never plays computer games" was persuaded to try it and had lots of chuckles for nearly an hour). I've only had the game for a few days so i can't really testify as to its longevity but i have the feelimg it will be a game that can be "snacked" on for a long time. The controls seem to me to be pretty intuitive and quite a lot of options have been squashed onto the joypad.

As soon as i got this game i knew it would be a classic. From lobbing police helicopters at your opponent to dodging planes coming at you there is all you could want. The characters range fron giant bugs to monsters made out of lava and weapons such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. If you ever find yourself short of something to throw you can just destroy the building next to you and and throw the remains. Instead of fighting your opponent you could choose to just ennihilate everything thats around you(that includes squishing the tiny people on the ground). With mini games like throwing a meteorite at a migits head just makes the game even better.

If you've ever been a fan of B-movie monsters or the thought of smashing apart a city is your kind of bag then this is a game to consider. Had this when I was younger and I remembered it fondly. A cool selection of critters to choose from all with different styles and powers. The game's campaign won't take you long to beat, there is also a free form mode where you choose cpu opponents to fight in a stage of your choosing and there are stages to be unlocked aswell as two extra characters (one of which is my favourite in the game).There is also split screen multiplayer with a few different game modes to choose (but not many).In brief, fun BUT brief.

I bought this game on the recommendation from the other reviews and boy was I glad I got it!If you are old enough to remember Rampage on the spectrum ZX or C64 and loved it, then you will definitely love this game.Hours of fun running around as big beasties hitting each other, everything which comes to hand - cars, planes, boats,trucks rubble, girders, boulders, water towers etc...Also reminiscent of old skool monster horror flicks e.g. Godzilla, King Kong etc..Great fun in single player mode, but even better get a friend and beat the hell out of each other.Plus it's cheap, if you don't want to fork out £40 this christmas for a new game.

this game is just perfect. from trashing buildings by lobbing your opponent through them to minigames like dodgeball this game has everything. be monsters ranging from a gaint bug to a massive japanese robot. theres two player modes with free for alls which create massive havoc and eliminations modes plus more.why i'd buy it:fighting is great.one and two player modes.loads of differant characters and settings to choose from.its just brilliant.why i wouldn't buy it:theres no reasons.overall i think this game is perfect and you should buy it.

i think the game is brilliant , i only have the demo but it has kept me occupied 4 ages monsters fighting each other.There are brilliant graphics and very realistic gameplay u play as 10 diffrent characters battling in out in a huge arena throwing cars and debris at each other. You also face environmental things such as tidal waves, earthquakes and squishing ur opponents by knocking a building on them

The most fun playstation game I've encountered yet. I'm not a big fan of combat games but this is seriously fun! I've even hooked some non-gaming friends with this cos the controls are simple and the 50's feel, combined with the havoc your monster can cause, really satisfies. Don't know how long this game can keep it interesting for 1, but the best thing for 2 players in a long time.

Brilliant, brilliant brilliant.Giant ape, Giant lizard, other giant wierdo monsters, smashing up buildings. Catching helicopters and throwing them and... most importantly, stomping on screaming hoardes of tiny people!!!

this game......its brilliant graphicis are wiked and well the enviroment so many characters like aliens giant rock men godzilla dragons its just wicked and i would reccomned getting this game

Great old game found it a bit hard but still fun thay should do a remake for ps4 it would be fantastic done right this is one of them games I would not trade its to good a game

I seriously don't know anyone who hasn't found this game a total blast! It is superb fun. Don't even get me started on the multiplayer...

My grandson loved this game. He did try to show me how to play but it was lost on me. However he assures me it's the best.

Good simple fun, it's fun fighting your friends as monsters, doesn't seem like much content though
