Things I like about this dryer:1 - it’s a trusted brand - Vileda2 - light weight so easy to pick up and move around. This is handy for the warm summer months as you could easily move this outside the house.3 - the detachable wing I found useful for drying little bits of clothing. I tend to use this in my bath tub but it can be hung on a radiator or balcony.4 - I like the small items feature that enables you to hang little bits like your knickers or socks without the use of pegs5 - the wheels are great for moving this product around when stacked with clothes. This is really a plus for me as I struggle to get my washing into the house when it starts raining without taking off the clothes from my previous dryer.

I am developing some kind of preference for Vileda's products, I think.It all started with a mop. I like when a brand develops trust and a relationship with the consumer (it might. it was definitely my favourite subject back in college).Anyhow, this Airer is definitely one more product of them that I love. It is hight enough for me not to be bending all the time, it is as light as it could possibly be, it is big enough for 3-4 machines (I use hangers for t-shirts), it comes with an adapter that you can use to hang the clothes on bathroom rail and it collapses in a perfect size to fit under my sofa.Personal Opinion: I trust Vileda to deliver a product with quality and reasonable price and this is what has happened here.

Before use the 4 plastic corners have to be fitted, these just slide on but need to be fitted the correct way round, the instruction sheet has clear diagrams. The legs of the airer clip firmly into position and the airer is then stable and strong. One of the legs has two small wheels so the airer can be moved easily, even when loaded with clothes. One of the two arms can be removed and with the attached plastic hooks can be hung on a radiator, this is very useful; the arm with the hooks is actually available as a separate item. There is a plastic hook for clipping the arms together for storage but there isn’t anything for the legs which tend to flop about when the unit is leant against a wall; I’ve hung mine on a hook in the garage when not in use.

I hate this type of airer whilst acknowledging their necessity. This one is a better design than others because there is less sticking out for you to catch and then collapse the whole thing. It seems robust enough so far.You can use all the wires or spread stuff over several and the height works for most garments. It doesn't take a full load of lots of say socks or underpants but I don't have the patience to thread them all on the individual wires anyway. I use this mostly for items which can't be tumbled such as jumpers and it works fine for that and has no trouble holding the weight.I like the detachable bit for radiators (the idea that you could use it on a balcony is a bit ambitious in Yorkshire !).

It's difficult to get excited about a clothes dryer, but this is a pretty good one. It's rather more sturdy than many other dryers and it has a few particular extra features. Firstly, one of the 'wings' of the dryer can be unclipped to hang onto a radiator or on to a shelf above a radiator to dry a few items. This is a particularly useful feature. It also has small wheels on of the feet (which I feel are unnecessary) plus a clip to hang a series of socks or other small items.There is a small amount of self-assembly to do - the four corner pieces beneath the table have to be clipped in place and the slightly cryptic wordless instructions could explain this rather better,

Vileda are a trusted and well established name in domestic cleaning and accessory products.I consider this dryer very good value for money. The Amazon pictures show the unit and what the accessories are for. A detachable rack which can be hung on a radiator and the red clip which can hold up to 10 socks. What the pictures don't show, is how light the unit is. Tubular metal coated with white plastic and black plastic fittings.18 meters of hanging rails is not massive and some items might touch whilst hanging. This obviously will prolong the drying process. The spacing could be just a few extra millimetres between the rungs and that is why I have given 4 stars.

Because I live in an apartment I don’t have access to an outdoor washing line, nor do I have a balcony, so drying clothes for me, is a bit of a problem. This vileda airer is a great solution. Really lightweight, it folds down quite flat when not in use and fits tidily against the wall, and once opened up its stable and quite sturdy. The three things I really love are, the detachable wing that fits onto my radiator and increases the amount of clothes I can hang on that, the little clips for hanging pants and socks from, and the wheels so that I can easily move the whole thing to another room if it becomes in my way.Cleverly designed and robustly built

This is a very light yet sturdy dryer. The dryer comes requiring a little assembly namely attaching 4 plastic brackets to the legs. This although a small job took a little working out even with instructions. The benefit of this dryer is how multifunctional it is one of the extending arms of the dryer can be removed and placed over a window or radiator. I like the amount of space the dryer offers, the wheels that help its portability and the added clips for drying socks or small items. Overall this is a well designed dryer offering plenty of space, it is sturdy yet light to fold away and comes at a reasonable price.

First of all I have to say that I expected something different - I expected a half height drier that could go on a table top......my mistake. I thought a compact drier would be useful for all the 'smalls' that don't need a big airer and normally clog up the house on radiators.So apart from my disappointment that it was a full size airer, I am impressed by the versatility of the airer, the removable over radiator arm is really useful. The clips for small items are great for dusters, hankies etcThere is lots of drying space, the unit folds up neatly and it is robust and well made.

Great movable design!It's nice and sturdy and doesn't look wobbly even when full to the rafters with jeans, sweatshirts and all the other bits and bobs inbetweenThe removable end that can be attached to the radiators or electric towel heaters is a great idea for fast but safe drying.The only thing I miss is the lower level strings that are usually great for socks, underwear etc. There is room for that extra drying space on the dryer, but it is not designed in.

I find this clothes airer dries my clothes very quickly as the clothes are spread out quite evenly allowing air to get through. It is quite robust and not to difficult to assemble. However, I have not worked out how to hang one of the side wings on the radiator yet. It comes off the airer but I am not able to lock it onto my radiator. Perhaps it only works with certain types. Apart from that I am very pleased.

The drier is easy to open and folds flat to store without using a lot of space. It is a very good size. I dried a king size duvet cover over the whole drier and it fitted without a problem. The two arms on the part that opens out are detachable and so is that part of the drier which then converts into a small drier that can hook over a radiator, very clever. This is definitely a good design and purchase.

While there are cheaper clothes driers, they can be unstable as I have learned, it’s very annoying if the drier collapses when full of damp clothes! This one is great, even has wheels at on end so you can move it easily when loaded. The individual lines are quite wide so don’t leave marks on your clothes. It’s not the biggest in the world but I can get a medium sized washing machine load on no problem.

Shopped around to find a good drying airer rack, without having to spend silly amounts of money on something that had a brand name on it. This one is just perfect. Good construction, quality and confident in its strength. Easily folds away to tuck into smaller spaces. Having the detachable arm to hang against the radiator is a bonus. Glad we have purchased this and will highly recommend to others.

Sturdy enough and does the job well. However, rings could be a bit further apart to allow air to circulate more easily and hence speed up drying. Bit cumbersome to store when not in use, but it has a catch which secures the extending arms to the main frame of the dryer when not using which helps with this. Removable section which can be used on its own and hung over radiator or door is really handy.
