The Verbatim discs in my experience over the last 10+ years have been the most reliable and trouble-free. On this example it's CD for audio or the saving/storing of bulk files backed up.I've never had a bad one from Verbatim in that it doesn't reject a 'write' routing due to corrupt sectors that the software cant read from or write to. Also when making an audio CD that is a copy of a bought one to share with relatives or to back up an Audio CD when lending the original to a friend - always find the copy on a Verbatim disc will play in my own and other CD players. This is not always the case with other makes. So given the value of these CDs and their equivalent DVD blanks I can depend on them to work.

These are good quality CD-R discs. They use silver in the reflective layer rather than the cheaper aluminium which makes them more reliable and longer lasting. I bought a pack of 25 discs because I wanted to burn some audio CD's of my own music. Unfortunately 3 of the discs had cosmetic blemishes in the reflective layer that looked unsightly (see photo). However they did record ok and all verified at 100% but I didn't feel able to offer the blemished discs for sale. All the rest were perfect.

After using a few well-known brands of DVD and CDs for data and audio, I tried Verbatim CDS after some happy experience with Verbatim DVDs. I have now burnt data and audio to 4 of these Verbatim CDs, with no problems whatsoever. Coupled with a very competitive price, I am impressed.

The blanks with a sort of sprayed on surface were no good for me a s the surface bubbles with a small amount of heat from my car player. These disks have much better protection on the surface and so work well in the car. Good price on eBay too.

These discs are very good quality. They are worth the value in money and a great way to download songs in your preferred order to listen for 80 minutes. Hard to 'lose' like a memory stick.....! Sheet inside to list order of your songs.

exellent vaule for money been using them now for years .... and never had a problem with either one plus you get the bonus of storage that they come in will always be using them thanks argos high five !!!!

I wanted to record some music and I tried a few other brands before this one which did not really do the job properly but I found this one the better of the lot. Would recommend this brand

As it says, I needed a writeable cd for the music I have chosen. The quality is excellent, music easily downloaded. Have used them before at friends’ funerals. Thank you.

These blank CD-Rs are one third of the price compared with High Street office supplies shops like Staples. I shall never buy them from Staples again!

Bought these to make a CD or 2 of music and to make some data discs. Had no problem recording or playing them back. just what you want really.

THESE VERBATIM CD-R DISCS I FIND TO BE THE MOST RELIABLE WITH VERY LITTLE BURN PROBLEMS AND GIVE GOOD FIRST TIME RESULTS.

Brought for mums music collection to be stored, after copying her cassette tapes onto PC, then burnt to disc, excellent!
