My last spindle of Verbatim CD-R discs have lasted me a while but I have now used all 100 discs to create music Cds to play in an audio Cd player or in the car. I had no faulty discs, and the discs play perfectly, so I wonder why so many people are reporting problems? After some research I understand there is a difference between Audio CD-R's and CD-R's, and some stand alone CD writers require Audio CD-R's to work if you wish to create a music CD. The disc burner in a computer does not detect the difference between an Audio CD-R and a CD-R, so will burn both equally well. I burn the discs on my computer using either Nero Cd burning software or the disc burning application in Windows 10 Media player.I select a slow writing speed of x32. The verbatim CD-R will recreate audio quality discs or data discs for things like photos or files. I have previously tried different software to create an audio disc but this disc would only play on the computer and not in my Cd player- the problem was the burning software not the disc. I have found Verbatim discs to be as good as the Sony discs I previously used to buy but now seem discontinued. It's worth the extra cost of buying a spindle as this ensures the discs are protected during shipping and also during storage at home before use. Bought the discs direct from Amazon rather than a 3rd party seller, and qualified for free delivery as my total order exceeded £20. So very happy with the price. Verbatim are a reputable company producing digital media storage so their discs should be good and more reliable than cheaper unbranded versions. Certainly my experience of these discs has been a good one. if the latest batch I have ordered is different I will submit a new review reporting this.

I recently bought a 2006 Mondeo and it's been a great car so far. It's got a CD player that's MP3 compatible, so I decided to go 'old tech' and compile a load of MP3 CDs. This will allow me to ensure my CD collection is not scratched or lost. I know a lot of cars have Wi-Fi, AUX connectivity, and can have gadgets plugged into them, but this seems like a simple and quick solution for some good tunes in the car. The CDs have been indexed and numbered and I have made custom CD Inserts listing Album Information like Tracks, Artists,etc. The CDs arrived quickly, and we're only about a fiver, so I was pleased with the price and delivery. 5* to the seller!Update 09 Sept 2019: For your convenience,the MP3 discs I have written follow an 8 x 8 folder / sub-folder format. Based on limitations of the Ford Audio System, the TOP LEVEL DIRECTORY has a maximum of 8 characters as a folder name. For simplicity I have followed this rule with the sub-directories also. For tracks with the MP3 extension, the top level (according to the Ford Manual) MUST be no longer than 8 characters e.g. abcdefgh.MP3, but can be extended to 31 characters in level 2 or deeper folders. I got a new car recently, and by new I mean it was produced in 2003. As such it actually has a multi-disc CD player. Now it's been awhile since I last burned a CD, but I am grateful that someone still produces blank CDs so I can transfer some of my digital music back to a semi-analogue state and play them when I go for a drive. This discs hold far less than a DVD but my car won't play DVDs, so it's good that someone still sells these. Now to find some blank cassette tapes.

Seems like a long time since we last used CDs. But my mum wanted some of her favourite songs on a CD disc to play on a CD radio player that we bought for her for entertainment in the evenings during the lockdown.These CD-R discs worked really well in burning with no glitches and the results were clear and a good reproductionI will be making more collections for her as the winter months draw in.Good value and Recommended

These are a top quality brand of CDR-s and are one of the best you can buy. Love these recordable cd,s . L,ve been able to put my favourite songs on 1 disc (about 21 songs), sometimes l buy CD for one song ,its great to be able to record the song then add about 20 songs l like , you can record your vynl albums/records its brilliant ,the songs always sound good , l,d recommend these ,there good quality ,+you get quite a few discs for your money ,

Used these to download songs onto from YouTube to play in my car. Was useful for songs you can’t get in Spotify, etc. I had a lack of knowledge in how to burn songs to a CD but the product itself worked and I could play the songs. Collection was very useful as you can collect from Sainsbury’s. Generally a great product for S great price and what u needed.

I don't get the reviews sometimes. My car cd player would skip all over the shop with memorex cd's but, these are just dandy and fine. Good recording and replay, no worries whatever. I guess it's just more to do with the equipment these and all writable cd's are being used upon? Anyway, good stuff!

For that price it's OK, but would rather to spend a bit more and get a more reliable one . One of them already giving error - I have only played it 3 times and already skips a few seconds for one of the songs, and I haven't taken the CD out of its player so it can't be due to scratches.

Actually bought these to use as a deterrent for keeping birds off our flat roof. We strung them on strong fishing line and fixed each string across the roof. So far, so good, birds have had to find alternative roosts. Obviously can't comment on recording of sound quality!

Bought these for the use of storing music. Fantastic quality and managed to hold a good amount of songs on one disc. The music sounds great and work fine with laptop, tv, CD player and in the car. Can’t fault them. Would definitely buy again and at a great price to.

Never had a problem with Verbatim and the same with these onesFound Ive had no trouble at all so far with any of the discs and recorded well with nice clear musicThink this is a great bargain spindle and will definately be ordering more when needed

I had purchased a box and used it constantly for some time now. They are of good quality and as usual was delivered by amazon without any issues. Quite happy with the purchase. If you want R CDs that for daily usage, go for it without a thought.

I've written 2 of the discs sof fare without a problem. They have written without error and represent very good value in my opinion. These have a makers label on the fron BTw so may not be your first choice if you want a personalised facia.

Just works well! can write on them, good box, good brand, clear and perfect recordings. Nothinfg just 'didnt work' as people are saying, one or two admitadly spat back out but after re-insertion they work fine and recorded fine too.
