I've bought these in the past but from elsewhere on the net, so I knew these were a good disc.I have used these on a couple of different burners (one was a Pioneer CD/DVD burner in my old PC, and the one I currently use is the Apple USB SuperDrive that I have attached to my iMac) and the discs burn faultlessly. I've probably used around 300-400 of these discs and I've never had any faulty ones.I've played these discs in a few different DVD players over the years too and all have played fine.The service I received from the seller was first class. Fast dispatch and I was kept informed of the various stages of my order and also an email to inform me that my order had shipped.

Maxell DVD-R - Reported as RITEKF1 disks by ImgBurn with available write speeds of 4, 6, 8 & 12. Not sure what happened to the 16 speed that is claimed on the packaging. For me the low write speed is the important one as my old computer often suffers from buffer underrun when I try to write at any speed greater than 2.4 . Despite the disk speed problems I have burned ten disks so far without any verification failures. For people with nice shiny new computers that can handle higher write speeds these are definitely a great buy, with good quality at a low price.For people like me with steam powered computers they may give some difficulties. (Perhaps its time I bought a new computer.)

I am a wedding Photographer/Videographer and use these discs, and would not consider using any other product. I have went through at least 1000 of these, and can say hand on heart, I have never has a faulty disc to date. For the price on Amazon for one hundred, you could not beat this, full stop! Argos charge like £15 for a pack of 50, and double this at 3 pounds cheaper, with free postage and packaging. My seller had them to me within two working days of the order being placed, outstanding.Honestly, give these discs a try, and you will not be disappointed with the quality.

this item was as expected but i thought it would be on a spindle? luckily i bought cd wallets to store them in or they would have got ruined quickly lol but they are excellent CDs and ive used them before in the pastreason why i only gave 4 stars was like what a previous buyer said... the plastic casing was damaged/cracked and was crammed into a very small box! could have been royal mail but i think maybe a little more bubble wrap and a bigger box would have been ideal

I seem to have a problem with recordable DVD discs. There always seem to be a number of dysfunctional discs that prove impossible to record onto. Last purchase of Verbatim discs was particularly bad, so I thought I would try these. Not perfect, some of the discs are still impossible to record on, but overall price reasonable. They do not come on a spindle to hold them in a nice tidy stack. So yes, much as expected and would get them next time at the special offer price.

Maxell DVD-R 16x 4.7GB (100 Spin) 6PB 270PPBought as a relatively cheap option.I use a lot of DVD's for holiday videos ( and copies from old VHS) and burn them off from a Panasonic EX83 hard disc recorder/player. So far I have had one burn failure ( or really a refusal to burn) ( probably due to disc contamination.Delivered promptly , good valueNo way of telling how long ANY DVD will last - I expect that the technology will move on before these discs fail

This is the first time I have bought blank dvds and I am very pleased with this product. Very good value product that will keep me going for a long time (100 dvds). They are easy to use and I have recorded from my sky box and have replayed on 3 different DVD players with no problems at all. It would have been nice if there was a plastic central pole to keep them together but that's just a small niggle. I would definitely recommend this product.

These are the only discs I buy, they give great picture, and colour, when playing back video. In all the time I have been using them I have had only about five or six which have not recorded correctly, and after some time of working with my software,I found it was not the discs fault. Over the years I have used about a 1000 of these discs. So I feel I can talk with some authority on the matter. In my opinion these are the best on the market.

I have used these discs for some years and have found them to be of excellent quality and value. Out of hundreds of Maxwell discs that I have purchased in the past I have had only one disc that failed to work (the dvd recorder would not accept it). Which is more that I can say about some Supermarket brands that have tried in the past. Whilst Maxwell keep up the quality I will continue to purchase them.

was a huge fan of maxell, seem to play a little havoc with my drive. Service was great, arrived jig time, sadly nowadays companies have done away with the "cake tin" plastic container discs come in and now just pack discs in a wrap and top and tail with platic retainers, mine arrived split probably post office dropping the box as usual, is a bit of a pain, great service though, would use again

I have used these disks for a couple of years now and had 100% reliabilty with writing on panasonic dvd/hd recorder thro the telly and my pc and reading on various dvd players in the house and portable ones in car. In the past I used various brands (some a lot more expensive) and always had failures, jumpy disks, however I will now only use these as they are so good and reliable

Bought these because the brand which I usually prefer (Verbatim - because I never have any failed burn issues with Verbatim) seems to have become more expensive than usual on Amazon. I'm very happy with the quality of these Maxwell discs - every bit as good as the Verbatim's and, as yet (halfway through the pack now), no failed burn issues.

Good picture reproduction, best price and prompt delivery. I’ve been a regular user of Maxell over the years and always pleased with the result. As others have advised, be careful opening the shrink wrap as there’s no spindle to hold the discs together (but, for an additionalal amount, you can buy the disc with a spindle and outer case).

One thing I did not realise is it doesn't have a tube through the middle to stop the discs from falling all over the place, it is literally 50 discs on top of each other with wrapping around, which meant when I opened it the discs fell everywhere and some got scratched. But other than that the discs are fine, nothing wrong with them.

just as described in the ad, well packaged & fast delivery.only problem i had was compatability - with my newest DVD +/- DVD writer (NEC) it would not recognise the disc, but in my really old toshiba - writer it was ok.Ive never had this problem with thy NEC burner with + or - discs (I had used Maxcell + gold discs previously ok)
