The 100 pack DVD+R's from Amazon are amazing value, cheapest by far. Great for backing up home video footage - I'm currently in the process of transferring analogue footage to DVD recorder then backing it up on these DVD's - doing it this way for speed, as the analogue video camera is on its last legs; once I have time to edit the footage properly, then I'll back up the edited version also. Also using the DVDs to copy footage from VHS tapes as VHS players are on the way out . . . The quality after transfer is excellent and footage I've transferred over the last few years has had no degradation when viewed over the past few months.

I have always been a fan of TDK products, both in the days of cassette tapes as well as CD's and DVD's, I know that you can buy cheaper, but I believe in the old adage of "you get what you pay for" as a professional photographer I have a need to always back up my images and also I need to send images to customers too.My copying software is such that after copying or backing up images to my DVD's or CD's from my PC it runs through a verification process to satisfy itself that the copied content is accessible and free from any corruption, this is my reassurance of quality, and I feel confident in saying that out of the last three 100 cakeboxes of TDK DVD's I had one duff copy,

If you want a cheap, reliable set of DVD-Rs, and don't mind the fact that they don't have individual cases, then look no further. With this set you get 25 disks for, at the moment, 5 quid. Unlike disks from other manufacturers, these do not become corrupted halfway through the burning process, or fail on 97%. They are compatible with any burner, and play without problems. Each disk is almost 5Gb, meaning about 6 hours of film, or thousands of your best pictures can be stored. The recording process is quick, and the final product is exactly as you want it to be. The cakebox is easy to store, although i prefer individual cases which do take up more space in your house. Of course, you can buy sets with cases,

Ignore the picture these are DVD+R and very fine they are too. The disks themselves are totally white, including the normally clear plastic disk at the centre. The only branding is around the outer rim of the centre hole, simply says;TDK DVD+R EXTRA FINE MATT 1-16x - similar to what is found on most discs - although smaller.All speeds burning, tested on a Sony DVD+-RW Burner under Ubuntu 8.04. No duds at 50 used.The fine matt finish is high quality, although very very slightly sticky - make sure your hands are clean when using them, or you will mark the topside. Look great when written upon with a black marker.logon17

It's a lot cheaper than buying in my country (Portugal) and the quality is great as usual, never had a problem with one of these. Also the "cover" of the DVD is really simple light blue with only the brand and the characteristics of the DVD on the sides in light grey/transparent, very "clean" without annoying lines or big brands so you can actually write something on it that's not all pushed on the bottom of the space on like 3 lines. For anyone who cares about that. Most importantly: it works and it's cheaper. That's about it.

Excellent product - I always use these. It's just not worth saving a few pence to get other inferior brands when you can have Sony.Arrived quickly but due to the package I have to pick them up next day from the post office. I've asked them to open the pack and post them individually through the letter box but they just won't do it. Can see why they are being privatised now. Should get better customer service from the private sector!

Ordered 29th., Jan and received 2nd., Feb. The TDK discs are just what I wanted with small amount of print on front so plenty of room to write on contents on discs and any colour pen will show up clearly. The packaging from Amazon not up to their usual good standard. Carton a bit too big, not enough package paper, so allowed the 'cakebox' to roll about loose. Fortunately the discs were well packaged so no harm done.

Got them in first thing in the morning, tested few- brilliant not a problem, "copied" film @ x16 burn speed DVD went in to picky Cambridge Audio DV-55 DVD player- plays well. Thus is in contrast to some DVD's purchased in the past either "coasters", either silly Burn speed or even some ("AOpen") that where (+) format and x8 write speed- my Stationarity player would not read...Will definitely buy them again!

These TDK T19920 DVD+R disks are brilliant. I have been having major problems with (other TDK and other manufacturer's) disks failing to recordor finalize properly - in some cases none worked. I thought my DVD recorder had failed but decided to pay a bit extra for these TDK disks just in case it was the cheaper disks. I have had no failures yet, having used about 30 of the 100. I'll be buying more.

DVD-RW are a great product , slim line discs with great memory.. burn quick and great quality. Easily written on to name and are of great standard.The only criticism I have is that it doesn't work on my brothers of parents TV but on mines.However only a minor glitch, I would recommend to anyone considering a DVD RW Disc to burn to watch movies or to capture those special memories.

First time I have purchased TDK DVD discs. I have used their VHS tapes in the past and found them of excellent quality.Goods arrived very quickly and are in excellent condition. Only reason I haven't given it five stars, is that I haven't used any yet. So I've yet to see if the quality is as good as their VHS tapes were.Will report back as and when I've recorded a few.

These discs are of really good quality and are the best value for money to be found on line . I opted for free delivery and was surprised to get them the following day . I have used the TDK discs in the past and have never had a bad burn . I am more than happy with them and at the price that they can be available at I will not be wasting time looking for an alternative.

These discs have been really good to me. Out of almost 100, not a single one has failed to burn on my Lite-On DVD recorder . The only minor gripe is that you cant handwrite your titles on the discs but hey you can stick them in a plastic wallet or DVD case instead. No problem. Its better than buying cheaper lesser known blank DVDs half of which turn out to be coasters.

Have used this company a few times now, and have always received excellent service. The costs of discs have risen quite a lot recently, and these are a great price, and out of packs of 50 it's unusual to even find one bad burn. 50 discs for under a tenner, and with free postage. Discs usually arrive within a day or two as well. Highly recommended!

If you're trying to recreate the quality you'd get from a convential dvd this is where you'd go but if you want HD/Blu-ray quality invest in some more expensive dvds.Some things to note:-Quality is reduced as the time of recorded data is increased-You need to check your dvd drive specs for your preferred speeds-They can only be written once
