These are the only CD-R discs that I trust. I have generally only had a good experience with these discs (only on the very rare occasion have I experienced a problem when burning and never it seems when it comes to playing). I even don't trust the 50 pack set of what seems to be the same discs as for some reason I have had problems with a far greater proportion of those discs comparatively. These discs have a distinctive coloration (dye?). In the past I have noted (at least in my mind) that the more distinctive (or dark) the coloration the better the quality. I also wouldn't use printable discs unless there is a particular requirement to do so. Again, it may just be in my mind,

I've tried various makes of CD-R and have found that Verbatim AZO ones are always very reliable and have the advantage that they work well with older audio CD Players which often have problems with other makes of disk where the dye does not give as noticeable a change in colour as AZO after recording. In the past I also used Kodak and Samsung CD-R's which also had a more noticeable change in dye colour when recorded, but I don't think these ones are now available. The only down side to these particular Verbatim CD-R's is that the non-recordable surface is quite shiny and can be difficult to write on if the wrong type of pen is chosen.

Stunning product, I was getting discs skipping in my in car mp3 player. A cd lens cleaner and these solved the problem. I tried my first discs again the other day and they still skip, but Verbatim don't!

Normally when buying rewritable disks you find a couple in the pack that wont work but these are brilliant and every disk actually works!

I have used quite a few of these to date and not one has failed, they are perfect for what I require.
