I write this as an indirect response to the negative comments by some of the buyers and canconfirm that it is NOT the quality of the CD-R’s that are a problem. I have an idea of whatthese buyers are doing and can guess what their problem/s is/are. Of course, there are solutions to their issues but the first thing for them to do is research what may be wrongon Google and then apply some logic. Don’t blame the product.I have been using Philips CD-R’s (amongst others) for a good part of 25+ years now.I have ordered 150 Philips CD-R’s over the past week and have used up 130 of thesethis week and none have been faulty. Philips QC is top of the range.

My last batch of discs were Verbatim 700MB 52x 80min. I read all the reviews and verbatim came highly recommended, on the net, and personally. For the reasonable price they seemed the best bet, but I've had more than my fair share of skipping music since I started using them. I aways burn music at X 20 (because that was recommended as the best speed) but am wondering wether to start wacking them out at X 24. Any road up I've switched to the Philips (god knows who makes them, might even be Philips) and so far everything has been tickety boo, so I would definately recommend them. But remember a lot of this stuff is subjective and some people can get a tad paranoid about certain things so don't

I bought these as I found they were the cheapest on Amazon. Every one worked and due to the 80min capacity you can get a lot of songs on :)They also allow you to specify the time you want between each song for example you can have in gapless for songs that run into each other (many other CD-Rs i've tried dont have this feature for example: BenQ)If I had to say one bad point is that due to the surface detail there's not much room to write, but this is only a very small problem and I have found there is enough room to write album and artist.Highly recommended :)

After some years of trying out every cd-r brand i could find, i saw these philips discs. They are rugged, well made, and have never given me errors whilst burning. Also, they work fine as audio cds even tho the specification above says no.The top surface is also a slightly rough texture so that you can write easily on it and see which side is which, and there is plenty of space to write whatever you need to.Id reccommend these to absolutely anyone, and amazon is by far the cheapest place to get them.

Excellent CD discs that we use every day to record full cast plays & music. These discs are the usual 80 mins & notice ALL companies only do 80 mins instead of 1 hour & 30 mins which enures we have to use two discs because most full cast plays & music over 1 hour needs a 1 hour & 30 mins discs. Anyway ; These are good discs giving excellent clear recordings and with 100 discs is a good price. We always use Philips, but come on, bring out 1 hour & 30 minuet discs & stop being mean!

We purchased these as we kept having problems with other brands, some discs would play and others wouldn't, since buying these we haven't had one error on any of the discs, definitely well worth paying a little extra, they arrive promptly on time and well packaged, highly recommended, great company to purchase from.

In the current lock down I am burning audio CD's of services for congregants without internet access. I am using Nero Burning ROM so I can make multiple copies at once on a PC & restricting the maximum burn speed to 16X has resulted in no burning issues with 120 CD's to date.

Great Product Better Than ExpectedItem arrived quickly and suits my needs perfectly. The price made me a little weary along with some negative reviews, but I Would certainly recommend this product quality is excellent and I would certainly buy again.

Have to say I have never had an issue with Philips Discs. I always buy them simply because they are the most reliable burning media that I have used. I bought this item from Amazon in January for £19.00 so quite a price rise since then.

These cd-r are great stuff...if you are thinking of purchasing these - u should purchase them from here at amazon.co.uk - They are a lot cheaper compared to other places like Argos...its well worth the money!

Great recording quality. Some issues with my car CD player showing 'CD error' when i put it in, but I persisted and the CD player registered it. Ma have been a glitch due to very hot weather.

Was making a CD of recordings, reading fairy tales, for my nephew. And it proofed impossible to find blank CDs with covers anymore. So these are another lifesaver of brilliant quality.

I'm a Spiritual medium and have used these CD's for some time now to record an hour's reading to and, unlike other brands, I've never had a single disc fail. By far the best quality.

these cds are great value. the recording on these is as good as the original cd. A fantastic price and if looking for a recordable cd then look no further. Highly recommended

Good quality CD-R discs at reasonable price. These are fine to use as long as all the files are to be burned at the same time and not more than 700Mb of space is required.
