Instant zing even without the need to used the supplied driver CD. Plugged the device in and Windows 10 configured it. It is very fast even in a standard USB port but in a USB3 it is even more impressive. It is an excellent "plan b" where on board Ethernet isn't there or has failed. I bought this to get around my old PC Ethernet not working under windows 10 (it's actually a problem with the motherboard BIOS and is never going to be addressed). It is also well thought out as the small USB cable means you can plug it in without obscuring other ports, as has happened with other similar devices I have bought in the past.
