I tried various respected routers but believe you me nothing matches the performance of a ubiquiti set up. I appreciate it's an outlay to setup properly but it is absolutely worth every single penny. I now have the wifi reliability and consistency that I get at work in my own home. My current setup is a ubiquiti USG on a ubiquiti POE switch feeding 2 AC pros and a AP AC M all controlled from the cloud key. 100% reliable, no reboots, no switching wifi onff and on and no complaints from the kids.

The devices are very easy to install. They do seamless handoff and they are rock solid and stable. I was tired of struggling with patchy WiFi. Unfortunately the 1 AP did not cover my entire house, so I bought the AC-Lite version as well, and I get excellent coverage just with the 2 AP's. They operate effectively with all my WiFi equipment, in both 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands and have made a huge difference to my Local network. I don't even use wired network anymore.

I bought this as an upgrade. The controller UI is a little less intuitive than I'd like resulting in some contact with Ubiquiti support which was outstanding. The support alone is reason to recommend. Functionality is good. Client visibility is good, performance is better than most I have used, but I have no experience of high end devices.

Getting much better throughput than with my previous Asus wifi point. You need a separate controller, so make sure you know what you are letting yourself in for if you get one.

Did the job. Installed it on my loft where I had speeds of about 20mbs but inconsistently. I get 65mbps consistently.
