We have been using a previous generation version of this, not bought from Amazon, for years. It has stood up for the test of time very well. It's a very tight fit for the particular laptop for which it's designed, and even today stretches out to fit the laptop and shrinks back to a smaller shape when the laptop is taken out, retaining its full original elasticity. It can also be used with other laptops, if they are slightly smaller than the Macbook Air 13. Most recently I had the Dell XPS 13 (2015 touch screen model) which is just a little larger than the Macbook 11 Air and visibly smaller than the Air 13 in this sleeve and the sleeve is small enough to not have too much looseness/play even with the Dell's smaller frame.

Not too snug, but not too loose. 13" MBA slides easily. I like the mesh that protects the laptop from the zipper. It's a nice colour too. I didn't give it five stars because I think it could be better; for instance, if it had a handle or if the zipper opened three of the four sides.
