Even if you love smartphones there is an advantage in having a second phone, that you have to worry much less about being lost or stolen.This phone features large illuminated buttons, which will suit anyone who has problems with their eyesight or hands. Operating the phone is very straightforward. The menu system is straightforward for anyone who can read. The phone has standard SOS function. Phone calls are audible both ways. So many functions for such a basic device.The handset is unlocked for any network.It takes a full-size sim.Once you open the phone up which is done by prizing the back off you need to insert your sim and the battery before powering it up.It asks you to input the date, time and then you are good to go.It is very easy to follow, there are 7 main folders which are then full of subfolders.You have contacts, messages, call logs, SOS, multimedia, organiser and settings.Some of the cool features of the phone include a preset SOS button, a radio & camera.The numbered buttons are very large and when you make a call it speaks the numbers as you press them,

Bigger screen, bigger keypad and all round lovely little phone for a more senior person. Charging is easy and the flip closing means it automatically switches off when not in use. Easy access to messages and a useful feature is the SOS setup which we inadvertently tested recently. Caused some panic until we reassured all contacts that all was ok. Good safety feature for our more elderly relatives. Pocket sized and useful for people who want a basic phone to communicate with others without the bells and whistles of more modern phones. Really pleased with it and so is my 87 year old father in law!

I gave this to an older person to test out, my Mother, who just doesn't do technology. She went and used it in a place that has awful signal. First off, she assembled it with no assistance from me. Aside from being proud of her this gives me faith that it was clear enough to use and figure out.Then she toddled off and used it with no issues, no questions and rang me with a clear line from a place that as if say, usually has awful signal. She is really pleased with this.

Asked to shop for a phone for a friend who is elderly has large fingers and is slightly deaf... it's proving to be the ideal phone for them and they are really happy with it... Not sure about battery life as I am not using it but the friend hasn't complained

a perfect solution for an elderley person who just wants a simple phone , to use and have ready when calls are needed to be made-massive touch keys and simple flip open-It need not be any more complicated.

I regularly purchased the Big Button Flip phone for my brother who had dexterity problems with his hands etc - the phone is very simple to use and is easily placed in the charging station.

This was bought for my elderly mum and she loves it. Its easy to use was very easy to set up and the cradle to keep it in makes sure its always to hand and not put somewhere obscure.

My mother loves her new phone. We have also set her speed dials up, so she only needs to press one number and it rings the person.
