I ordered this headset as I needed a replacement for my old one as it had broken overtime. I wanted to go for a cheap temperamental headset as it was urgent that I needed one. And behold, looking for cheap headsets, I got what I was paying for, maybe even worse.First things that I had noticed as soon as I got it was the cable was braided which I thought was a nice design and means that the wire will be more durable. This was not the case. The wire had started to curl up as soon as it got out of the packaging. Also the 3.5mm jacks are very dodgy. I thought the sound wasn't pushed all of the way in the port so I went to push it in further and with a slight movement,the headset would flicker.Secondly the microphone is not good at all. When I plugged everything in I loaded Audacity to test the microphone quality and it was extremely quiet to the point where I had to put the microphone levels to 100% and still struggle to hear my voice. The quality is also way below par, when looking for headsets for around £20-£30 I was hoping that the microphone would at least sound clear but have some kind of noise that would make it less quality because that's what you'd expect from a cheap headset. But this was even worse. It sounded like I was in some kind of dome and my voice sounded like someone put a cushion over my face. So with this I refused to make temperamental videos with it. Using this headset while on Skype however is just a little different, the audio levels are more higher but the quality is still bad but at least my voice is understandable.Finally the audio for the headset is nice, you can occasionally hear bass clearly and it's nice to listen to. One problem I have is sometimes sound gets distorted but it's not often and sometimes it's not really too noticeable if you're just having music in the background or are more focus in gaming. I will probably continue to use them for headphones on my phone as I prefer full ear headphones instead of in-ear headphones.

not great volume from these headsets, ok they seem sturdy enough but have resorted back to my old trust 5.1 headset as there is more volume and better sound from them hence the 3 stars, sorry should have sent them back.
