Excellent quality box, that both our love birds adore. We bought this as not knowing if our birds were both the same sex, and seeing them 'enjoying a bit of loving time together' thought we may need one, just to be on the safe side. A few months later we're pretty sure we don't have a boy and a girl, but all the same, this box has been well used by them both. We started with the lid open, as our birds are quite nervy types, but noticed they soon enjoyed pushing the lid down, and moving the box around. Nowadays they seem to sleep in the box, and use it as a place of safety when we have guests round that they don't know (quite comical watching them peek out of the hole suspiciously!)

I bought this for my lovebirds, it has loads of room for 6 babies when they get a bit bigger, before venturing out of their box. Its, ideal as it comes with an extra bit of wood to go on the outside for them to perch on. (My lovebirds like to chew it down.) So I can see myself using this twice before it is completely wrecked, however I think its excellent value for money, as I struggle to find large nesting boxes that suit my lovebirds, and I don't want to pay £10 for a small one when I know the little ones will get trampled on.Thank you ++++

The wood for this item didn't seem like it was polished/sandpapered well and there was lots of excess sharp wood sticking out from the hole.BUT after I sandpapered it down myself it looked safe enough to place in their cage and currently we have 3 eggs incubating in there! The budgies took some time (1 month) to get used to this box but they love it now. The mother spent a good month in this box before she laid her eggs in there. She seemed to know exactly what to do with the box :)

Does the job-probably will only last 1 year or so unless treated. No attachments but simple enough to do with a drill and a bolt or a couple of hooks. Won't take much grief from a determined bird but my lovebirds have barely left theirs since I gave it to them and the budgies like sitting on the lid of theirs but haven't been inside yet so time will tell....

I have bought several of these and they are great however this one was out of square and the perch was missing.It was simple to glue the edges together after squaring it up in a wood vice and I had some used old doweling that I glued into the box.I’m not unhappy, it got me out of a fix having been a quick service a reasonable price and a simple fix.

This nesting box was great for the purpose of facilitating the laying of eggs and growth for 5 baby budgies. The wood is of good quality however please note that you would have to create holes yourself for the purpose of securing to the cage walls. This is done fairly easily. Will use for further breeding cycles for my budgies.

I shouldn't give 5* only because who ever made this should make easy to secure in the cage I had to make 2 holes to put two screws with rings likely I have the necessary tools but the other buyers will find difficult if YOU SELL THIS WITH OUT AT LEAST 1 HOLE AND 1 SCREW WITH 2 RINGS it's easy to do. Thanks.

Great nest box however it could potentially be better if they either provided a tool to secure from the outside or some sort of manual as a guidance. But my zebra finches laid eggs in this right away and one had successfully hatched (first-time parents) and it is nice and cosy in there...for now x)

I got this to use as an enclosed sand bath for a fat-tailed gerbil and it is a lovely size. The hole was a little small for my girl, but a few moments work with a drill solved that. She's thrilled with her new toy, and I'm pleased with the sand staying in it more than a minute!

Item exactly as advertised.My birds have taken to it almost immediately which surprised me as they are quite skittish with anything new.Construction is sound and finish is good.If your looking for a functional box that does the job then this box is the one to get.

I like this product because it is well made and easy to install in the aviary it has a hinged inspection door on the top so that you can have a check on the chicks ,I shall be ordering more of these soon when my aviary is up and running.

I chose this size box as I know that Joey will not go anywhere without Chloe and vise versa so its a good size for them.Its easy for my husband and I to keep a close eye on everyone inside.The measurements are spot on.Many thanks.

Haven't used this yet but it looks fine and a good size for my parrotlets., I am planning to screw some cup hooks into the back so that I can fasten it in their cage. Hopefully, Olive and Toui will like it.

I purchased these in a hurry and found that they were not as sturdy as others I have purchased. Surprised that markings indicated that they were made in Germany. Mybirds have so far refused to use them.

very good product only thing is the perch was loose and kept falling out, saying this my budgies kept pushing it out and did not need it. my budgie laid 7 eggs and it was perfect for keeping her happy
