I hooked this over our trelis fence as we don't have a tree and bent the wire so it would stay put in case of wind.Our little visiting birds love it, and great to see them there, cats can't get to them either.Then today we were descends dupon by a huge group of starlings, 4of them were all trying to sit in the tray!This is more for little birds. We have bad a crow and a pigeon come and look, they couldnt work out how to get the food off it, was funny watching trying to hang upside down to get the food.The birds certainly approve, and the tray is deep enough for seeds and mealworms.We have had rain, frost and very high winds and this looks as good as they day I received it. Very pleased.

The attraction of this bird feeder to me was the roof and it being big bird proof.It is a little awkward to put together, the corner pillars don't slot in that easily with the roof, we found it a 2 person task and still split the wood on a pillar, but having said that, it does look smart in the tree.Starlings can still use it from the front which for me is great as I adore these birds.The pigeons were completely baffled how to get to the food, tried as they did they couldn't get to it easily, as long as there are no perches near it, the big birds won't be able to use it.We happily watch starlings, robins and the tits swoop in a take a bite.

Bought this to replace all my bird feeders. And I'm glad I did. The birds took to it straight away. No mess on the floor. Pigeons and squirrel can't get to it now. As for the feeder it's very sturdy and well made. But I received mine with loads of scratches and holes where the nails are. I had to fill the holes and re paint the whole thing. But that didn't bother me as the feeder is well made and very strong. The food won't get wet now. I will definitely buy again minus the scratches and holes.

Well-proportioned (bigger than it seems on the image) and made from very solid materials. I've only just put it up and have had no avian visitors yet, but I'm sure they'll appreciate the low overhanging roof which will keep out the bigger birds. Instructions were clear - it took me about 10 minutes to screw it together, as not all the parts are pre-drilled - and it came well-packed. Looks weatherproof, particularly the gravel-covered roof. I'd recommend it.

Really good for smaller birds, use this to keep wood pigeons out, the roof is too low so they cant get in but blackbirds and smaller are all good, had a dove in there but didnt mind him, very well made, mines been up all winter now and no sign of wear, good hanging bar and the food keeps dry even in strong rain as the roof protects it, if you want this in a bird house then buy it, its great.

I have bought the smallest size of these hanging bird tables twice for around £10 each, they are very well made and come fully built with a felt slated roof, I shortened the hanging wire with a cable tie to reduce it being blown by really strong winds and so it is higher from the ground on the feeder station pole.I find the Robins love it along with the Blue & Great Tits

What a great little product. I was surprised how good the quality was given the price, it even has a proper felt roof. It needs assembling which is pretty easy, but comes with great instructions nevertheless. Oh and it turned up early. With all the tat you can get from amazon these days, its great when you get something like this. Top marks all round

I found it easy to assemble - my small electric screwdriver helped. (I'm female, aged 79). It is very well made for the price. I would have liked it to be a bit deeper i.e. the pillars holding up the roof to be longer. Nevertheless I'm glad I bought it and look forward to my feathered visitors coming when they get used to it.

This is a nice little addition to the garden. It is quite small so the largest bird you can expect to see on it would be the size of a starling. Our doves still haven’t worked out that they can’t eat from it.I just have to work out a way of stopping it moving around in the wind so much.

These bird feeders are brilliant, they stop the larger bully birds getting on and taking all the food, my small birds love them and even the thrush can feed off it without being chased away by the blackbirds, money well spent as they are very sturdy and well made.

I really like this bird feeder, well built and so easy to put together. I did however give it some teak oil treatment and a paint job for the base. I am hoping my effort will make it last a while longer. It arrived well before time. I am happy with my purchase.

I like the roof on this bird table, plenty of overhang to keep the food dry. We bought the bigger size for our garden. It was easy to put together with clear instructions. We like the extra screws that are provided.

I have this 30” and also the smaller one plus the bird table, they are all great, diy setup for the 30” and the table one was fairly simple, all good purchases

Easy to assemble I did use some wood glue in addition to the screws for extra strength. Does the job, the birds like it! Keeps the pigeons off the food.

Very classy looking sturdy little feeder. Perfect for the little birds. Hung in my willow tree and the birds using straight away.
