This feeder is very good But. Instead of old toast why not try spreading bread with fat, then press in seads, fruit, etc. to make my bread fit the feeder I had to stretch the mesh. Instead of old toast feeder, I would make this item wider and then call it THE BIRDS BREAKFAST BAR, as I do.

Rustic looking, a little flimsy in appearance but seems to work well despite this, a great way to use burnt toast, came in a plastic wrap not a box so bear that in mind if its a gift, I would buy another one once this one gets too weathered to use.

It looks good and does what it should. The lucky birds will now get more of the bread and toast - one of our cats used to go out and eat some of the bits we broke up and scattered on the lawn!

This is a great idea and very well made (if only my birds liked it with bread in, but as they don't I have put peanuts in it, and they are very happy with that!)
