I hung this - very simply with a screw into one of my covered porch supports. I have hung other birdhouses - only to find them never used. Much to my surprise within literally days - I had a wren nesting in this birdhouse! I am thrilled to watch it flit in and out and to know that the baby birds will be warm and safe. I plan on buying several more of these houses as soon as my budget allows.....do not hesitate to buy this birdhouse.

This bird house is very well constructed and I especially like the trap door on the side so I can easily clean the house and possible check on occupants! A nice touch would be to have a second mounting point, as my house as canted slightly with the comings and goings of the current family. I guess if they don't care if the house is slightly sideways why should I? Nice materials and finish to the house.

Found the product to be just what I was looking for... a bird house to hold a remote weather station. Works great! Keeps the weather station dry and shielded from the wind, rain and snow. Too bad I have to cover the opening to keep the little critters from setting up housekeeping inside. Our little feathered friends would of course send my temperature and humidity readings "South"...so to speak.

I have another bird house from the Esschert line which wrens and chickadees have used for several seasons. This one has a nice copper roof but is otherwise similar to the one I already own. The hatched door on the side make them easy to clean at the end of the season.

I bought this bird house to add to our collection on our tree, and it looks great with all the other copper bird houses! It is built well and i like that the full side opens up to clean it out if a bird you don't want nests in it.

The overall product is a little pricey for what you get. Somethings are nice, for example, how to clean it. But it is not worth the price. Our roof was crooked and not exactly tacked down. Buyer beware.

Loved this. But I think it will need to go under an alcove not sure how it might weather outside. And it doesn't hang. It has a hole in the back to fit over a nail/screw and hang on a post or tree.

Great bird house, solid and easy to open side to clean out (when birdies are done). Though there is a large drop from the hole to the bottom of the house, we have not had anyone nest in it yet.

Nicely built. Should be a winner for the birds. Well built. Well packaged.Shipped on time too. Started on our mantel in the winter. Almost don't want to give it to the birds now.

This was an added item for a Christmas present.My mother was very happy to receive this Wren house.The quality was exceptional.I would recommend this product to all my freinds.

This little house is very well made and I am waiting on my wrens to move in. My old house needed replaced. This house looks good too and looks worth more than I paid.

It is smaller than I thought it would be but then again wrens are very small birds. Closure on side door is kind of cheapy. We'll see if any of the wrens like it.

Gave this as a xmas present - For the price it really is a well made, pretty little bird house. My friend loved it. I plan on ordering more to give as gifts.

House is very small but cute. I installed it on Saturday and was delighted to see wrens moving in on Sunday> I sguess I got it up just in the nick of time.

Nice and well made birdhouse...love the copper roof .for my husbands' birthday it was great gift and looks pretty on the house and birds already in it!
