When it comes to movie games, or games based on movies, i tend to not expect too much. This game isn't really based on the new Transformers movie as such as far as the story is concerned, but the characters and voices are instantly recognizable from the movie.You basically play a newly arrived Autobot enlisted to help in the war against the Decepticons. The first thing you do is to scan 3 vehicles and assume the identity of one of them and you get to choose which one - they all have different speeds, handling, etc. Your vehicle will then be able to transform back and forth from robot to car/van at will. The game consists of driving, fighting, and shooting. Doesn't sound too exciting or original on paper but the voices are ,

First of all, I'm a big Transformers fan so that may add an element of bias here, but I can't help that. This game looks great, and the voice acting adds a lot to it. I had known beforehand, but was taken by surprise to hear Frank Welker's Megatron when he appeared. If I had one complaint it would be that they didn't let him voice Soundwave too, but the Soundwave they have isn't too bad...I'd only briefly played the first game so I'm not sure how it compares, but transforming is extremely fluid, and becomes second nature after a while. While not strictly tied to the plot of the movie, it takes out the more outlandish elements and so the storyline progresses just fine.If you just play this game for the missions on their own you may get bored,

Brilliant game - but due to getting me as a young child, in my eyes, anything Transformers can do no wrong. The Autobots are wicked, however after I'd completed it with them, it turns out the Decepticons are even better! The secondary and tertiary objectives add a nice added angle to the missions. The graphics aren't quite like the film i.e. Optimus Prime doesn't quite have the detail that Hollywood injected, but still more than fantastic enough.All in all, a great Transformers game. If you liked BOTH films (and are therefore dedicated to these robots like me) then you'll love this game. Otherwise, you could be disappointed.

This game is a definite winner! It's highly polished graphics and addictive gameplay ensure hours of fun and entertainment. I really enjoyed the multiplayer online games. It was challenging and fun. The Transformations are quick and easy. The action blends well with the game objectives. For this reason the game should appeal to arcade action and strategy fans. If you are a Transformers fan or not you will find this game is easily addictive!

Only played the game a few times now, but it is easy to get to grips with the different commands and the missions have been straight forward upto now.My eldest son loves transformers, so he spends his computer time on the PS3 playing this. He loves it, he has stated that some of the levels are quite hard but seems to manage after a while.As good as the first Transformers game... well in a word, no. But it's not far of it.

only played it for about and hour and i feel it will be played for a while there seems to b alot to do and unlock and many transformers to use (you can use both gudies n badies ;p ) .over all very happy with this purchase and my to younger sons enjoyed watchin me kill the autobots lolwell packaged arrived early no complaints atall for the price defo worth a play

Enjoyed the film - and enjoyed the game.Great value for money and delivered to your door - perfect.The game gives you plenty to do as you get to play various Autobots, and/or various Deceptocons in mutliple challenges.Definitely one for the collection.

A nice game for a great price.After a while it becomes a bit boring sometime but nonetheless a happy experience! Another thing I did not like is the limited characters but I'll spend sometime and some more money I guess in ps3 store.

Best Transformers game yet. Excellent graphics, great fun, controls are mildly confusing at first but you get used to em, and the online multiplayer is SUPERB... If you like Transformers you HAVE to own this game...

This game is much better than the first part. You can choose between different Transformers and fight as an Autobot or an Decepticon. The fighting skills from the Transformers are very good.

The kids were so happy to get this in their christmas stocking.The game is amazing. Graphics are great and so much to do in the game.I would recommend this game to transformer lovers.

its really good although the cheats wont save during game progress or multiplayer.the multiplayer is really fun and good and addictive.the graphics are HD and its awesome

My son has really enjoyed this game, if he misbehaves we tell him it will be confiscated and this seems to do the trick.....

My son loves this game and given the opportunity would probably play it all day. The game arrived on time and as described.

This was bought for my grandsons birthday. He hasn't stopped playing it since. Bumblebee is evidently the best!!!
