Had this game originally and enjoyed it big time.I purchased it again but had difficulties with it not working but despite that set back i would advise other would be buyers to have windows xp installed on their system as this game will not run in compatibility mode if you run vista/windows7.I have bought another copy to see if it was the other game i bought and it turns out that it was the disc that was faulty but now have got a xp machine and it plays like it should do no problems.For a truely good game i would recommend a dual core as i find with the graphics it suggests it runs slow no but anything from a ati radeon 4890 vapour-x+ graphics card will run it sweet as a nut and the graphics

And that's it!!! After the Disapointment fo Pirates of the Caribbean (excelent graphics and all, but a way too short world and possibilities), it comes Tortuga. Mostly, it feels lika a remake of Pirates Gold; the playability, genre, missions, graphics, and so on, but it really keeps you going: sea battles look nice (although I miss the swordfightint part, as there is none in this game) and the story is like it should be; up to you.Choose your country and your commander speciallity, and thats it! Everything else is up to you! Trade, hunt, kill, sink; be a Spnish sailor or an English pirate... Since Pirates Gold that I haven't seen such possibilities.And, even more, it grades up as you gain experience,
