Like many people during the 2020 lockdown, I've rediscovered a love for drawing and this unassuming little tool has been instrumental in that renewed love. My drawing has improved greatly in the few weeks since this was delivered and I find myself wondering how I ever managed without one! Obviously it is great at precision erasing BUT the real beauty of this tool only becomes apparent once you realise it's not all about correcting mistakes. No, this little beauty will send your drawing to new heights when you realise it is a drawing tool in it's own right and what it does is add highlights and detail to your pencil drawings with ease.Yes,the refills are somewhat pricey but if you use this thing to it's full potential the improvements you'll see in your art will far outweigh that cost.If you draw in pencil, get yourself one of these. You will not regret it

Sometimes I need a bit more than a putty rubber or a square plastic eraser when sketching, and hadn't even heard of the Tombow 2.3 tip erasers until someone was using one on a YouTube tutorial vid. This thing is an absolute must if (like me) you're all about the detail and need to get in there with something extremely thin but very durable (matron). The Tombow came with just the single refill inside (so you will have to shell out for more refills) and the inner bit is fairly short - so my advice would be to use this sparingly unless you're minted and can afford 3-4 quid for more refills.Using it though is a breeze. Just like a mechanical pencil, pop the cap and use the eraser.Doesn't leave much residue (but not residue-free like a putty rubber). One for serious artists but also awesome for a bit of chiarascuro work too.

I have one of these in another brand and they don't make those any longer so I went looking for something new as I needed a couple of erasers and normal erasers you buy just don't cut it very well - they leave marks, loads of dust and also take up bylky space in a pen case. These are great!Do a nice clean job, fit my pens cases perfectly and are lovely to hold as they are quite small and I have small hands - these come in about half an inch bigger than a Zebra Mini Pen (which is the one and only pen I use for writing with).

If like me you still cling on to the last crumbs of your fast becoming distant youth by getting uncharacteristically excited about 'propeller pencils', then extend that wonder with a propeller rubber. If I'd have had one of these 15 years ago I'm not sure how I would have handed it.It's also apparently great for pencil drawing according to my girlfriend who uses it for its intended purpose and not just propelling it out as far as possible. The only issue is that I would have liked for the rubber sticks to be a bit longer

Very practical, good product. I also like the color and shape of the pen. Super that there are two sizes. The eraser itself isn’t the best quality, though I know it’s not a simple one at all for such a thin product. Even among regular-sized erasers, it is rare to find a really good erasing version. This one erases pretty clean anyway, it only shows a very little bit even after deleting what I wrote. But I use it for writing and not for drawing.Overall, I consider it a very good product, I like to use it.

Bought this for my daughter as she is really into her art. She can loose a hundred rubbers but if it looks like a pen/ pencil then it will never stray far.She really loves how precise the 2.3 is and she uses it on highlighting as well. The item seems very well made and the rubber tip hasn't damaged any paper she has used. The erasing is crisp and the rubber doesn't come away in bits, leaving a mess on her drawing.Definitely worth the money for this item and will be purchasing refills soon.

This is a great eraser, nice and small tip at 2.3mm. Comes with two refills. The erasers are a little on the hard side and don't lift as well as the plastic type erasers, but, they work well at lifting highlights and removing fiddly errors! It's a must have in my drawing kit and wouldn't be without it now. I've given four stars because I do think it's a little on the expensive side when you can get other propelling erasers at half the price (I know they are twice the width though)

I'm a professional graphite artist and always cut up rubber to get thin lines and finally got round to buying one of these after so many pro artists talked about them being amazing. It is award winning for a reason- it's one of the best drawing products I've ever bought. Such good value for money too. Trust me the inner will last forever so don't waste money buying additional internals for it- just have this and buy when you need them but it won't be for a while. Lasts ages.

This is great for detailed work. The eraser is quite hard but that definitely has its advantages with sketching and it is perfect for putting in delicate highlights in fine drawings. The barrel is comfortable to grip and the eraser stick appears to last for ages.I wouldn’t be without it now I’ve owned it a while.Great addition to any artists sketch box.Highly recommend.

What a super rubber my 13-year-old son has just finished this picture of a human eye, in the art tutorial video he was watching online they kept referring to this mono zero eraser. So please we brought it as it is nice and cheap and creates a super effect on the drawing Which would be very difficult to create using a normal rubber. Would highly recommend quality product

I like this, I do, but it doesn't erase all of the marks, which is infuriating. Also it starts off with a nice angled tip and then becomes very flat. You need to lengthen it frequently, and keep an eye on it. I was using it and it went down really fast, resulting in it scratching some wood I am working on!! It's great for small and intricate details but nothing else.

The rubber isn't quite as good as I'd hoped. Buying it originally to add thin highlights and the like to pencil drawings, and it doesn't quite work for that. But it's still good for rubbing out small details without having to worry about also removing the surrounding area as well. It sits with my other rubbers of varying sizes, and is used a lot whilst sketching!

+Very precise+Easy to use+Feels nice in the hand- Expensive refills. Have had to search alternative sites for cheaper refills (which came to £5.50 for two rubber refills- as pictured)Bought to complete a bear I drew recently and haven't stopped using it since. By far the best rubber i’ve bought yet, particularly for small mistakes and highlights.

As an A level art student who does mainly pencil tonal pieces this is very handy and makes life a lot easier for me. My only complaint is that once you've pushed the eraser out you can't push it back in so if you accidentally push too much out then you have to cut part of it off which seems quite wasteful. Overall great product though!

Wish I had discovered this sooner. For updating a small paper business diary daily, this is a godsend compared to “normal” sized erasers. I am now able to just erase the actual line I want to erase, rather than removing three lines and having to re-write them back in! Makes my job a lot easier.Needless to say, I absolutely love it!
