An exceptional item in terms of functionality, but it lacks the feel of something premium, as expected by the low-price mainstream consumer market this item is advertised for.Buttons feel good, the paddle gear shifters are considerably quieter than the 458 TX and the F1 wheel rims. I only have an issue with the feel of it. When using gloves, the rubberised feeling of the wheel is no longer an issue and it begins to feel right, like a racing wheel.Controlling of the car improves with this wheel for any street or racing car in comparison to the TX wheel because of the increased weight, size and roundness which adds more of a natural feel.It most certainly can be used for lower speed single-seater racing,

I've been racing rFactor 2 using this wheel since I bought it a few months ago, and I can not fault it over anything.It's well equipped with buttons I can use to control everything I want to during a race, such as planning pitstops ahead and operate the MFD, while still tweaking engine maps, brake bias, and turning on my headlights when the light goes down.The shift paddles are attached to the wheel (as opposed to the wheel base), and so the right paddle stays under your right hand, and the same for the left. They haven't given me a single erroneous shift over 5,000+ laps.

Nice and heavy wheel, feels high quality, the material is a soft/rubberized plastic, it doesn't feel totally cheap like it looks. The sizr is smaller than the original T500, the same diameter as the G27 wheel, but it feels much more substantial as the rim is thicker. The shifters are better quality than the original T500 ones. The buttons feel fine, only the Dpad lets it down a bit as it isn't soft press like xbox or PS3 controllers, it is very 'clicky' and can easily press sideways when you want down.

A worthy companion to the T500rs stock GT rim. Buttons are more accessible and the rim has a solid weighty feel to it. I did not upgrade for the moving paddles as i prefer the static paddles on the base unit. Is it worth the upgrade from the GT rim? I would say yes although smaller than the GT rim (though not as small as the G27) I find it makes the T500rs base unit feel smoother and more nimble. Is it absolutely necessary? no, but if you enjoy sim racing and have the spare cash you won`t regret it.

This is a great wheel. The quality of this item is superb, and it is a good looking, simple, no nonsense wheel. It has a textured rubber grip with paddle gear shifters. It has a nice weighty feel to it, and it gives you a good feeling of confidence while driving. It is excellent value for money, and in my opinion, it is better than the F1 wheel add on that Thrustmaster also make. I can wholeheartedly recommend this product.

Got this replacement rim as I couldn't get on with the fixed paddles on the base. The rim is slightly smaller than the original rim but feels quicker and more responsive to me.One small problem which I'm investigating (whether I need to return it or not) is that the left hand paddle squeaks a little and I'm not sure whether it's the game (iRacing) limiting when I can downshift but it's not registering the odd click.

Good for racing all types of car. Rotating paddles help so much in corners which require 90+deg of lock, so if the T500RS GT rim static paddles are annoying you then get this wheel! 1" smaller diameter than the GT rim which kinda makes it feel a bit more nimble in your hands.

Love this wheel - as every one says it is so much more substantial than the standard rim - its heavier weight greatly enhances the "driving feel" when playing Forza 5 - everything about it oozes quality - well worth £65 - and it looks so cool to boot - buy one today

Good solid rim, for the price it provides good accuracy and an all round favourable feel. Just the seams on the inner rim cutting into my hands keep me giving it 5 stars, obviously this will smoothen out with prolonged use.

Awesome add on - have this on the TX Racing Wheel for XBox One and PC, along with the T3PA pedals... really improves the whole setup. Wheel just feels better, and more 'weighty'

This also works with Xbox One and not just PS3/XBOX360/PC although it does not state that. I actually feel bad for those people that spend £130+ buying the other version.

This wheel gives far more control than the larger stock wheel that the T500 base comes with. I find the shifter paddles have a more positive feel.

I Like it so much, This Rim with TX wheel seems to be completely different, and use it with T300rs + T500rs with PC & PS3 & PS4 Games5\5 Star

Very happy with rim. Paddle shifters feel great. Size is smaller than stock wheel, is maybe a tiny bit too small, but still feels fine.
