I am a big fan of Simulators (Truck sim, Bus Sim ect) and I have always wanted a steering wheel to enhance my experience. I dont have a lot of money for the high end wheels, nor would I think that it would have been worth it (if I were a pro streamer maybe?) But anyway what made me pick this one over the others.Well I had a price range in mind and this one was slightly over but because I got given an amazon voucher I went for it. I was looking for wheels in the £40-50 price range and saw some, but then read the reviews... they didnt speak highly of some of the cheaper (£30) models.I saw this one has a much more acceptable rating, read the good and bad reviews and made my judgement. Am I dissapointed? No.The wheel is sturdy, feels like it has some proper weight to it (you have to have one hand on the wheel) it doesnt have force feedback (although some games think it does, must be a generic chipset controller they use just not wired up?) It does have its own way of auto-centering.The face buttons are all in nice reachable positions, apart from the 3 in the bottom middle of the wheel but then these are meant to be the PS3 home, start and select buttons. The flappy-paddles are nice, albeit very noisy click sounds but thats no real problem. The steering wheel only has 180degree rotation, which is perfect if you are coming straight from analogue controllers to be honest, you be used to the wheel in game turning a little more than you are tilting stick (if you understand me there)The pedals are well built and feel like proper pedals, although a bit more weight in the base would have been nice. They are very responsive too.Windows 10 detected and installed the steering wheel with no problems, ETS2 is great with it (real reason I bought it) still yet to try it with other games but I am sure I can get it to work.Bus Simulator 16... I couldnt get on with the controller as it feels there is a lot of (in-game) steering wheel movement before the wheels engage. Like you have to do one full rotation before the wheels start turning. Probably just something in my settings and with Bus Simulator 18 just around the corner, I am not too fussed about it either at the moment.Would I recommend this? Well first impressions are good, I just hope it stands the test of time and still performs well in a couple of years time.I havent tested on PS3 yet, or for PS4 compatibility, I would be very happy if this works on PS4, especially for PS VR racing games... I will get back to you on that one.Thank you previous Amazon reviewers, I was able to make a decision. And I hope my additional review helps others make a similar choice.

If you own a Mac, you may have spent a while looking for a racing wheel that's Mac compatible. I did, and didn't find an awful lot of info, so thought I'd post a Mac-specific review. So, is it compatible? Yes, but not entirely. The good news is that I plugged it straight into my iMac (which is a c2009 iMac 10,1 running OSX 10.6.8) and the wheel works without a problem. The not so good news is that the pedals don't. I'm not massively techy, so if you know of a solution to this then please feel free to leave a comment. However, I'm quite happy to use some of the ample number of buttons on the wheel itself to substitute for the missing pedals.Whatever your machine, will you like the wheel? Well,I bought it to play truck sims, for which I find it ideal. The wheel feels of a much sturdier, higher quality than I expected and has a very pleasant, weighty feel to it as you turn. The pedals also have a satisfyingly realistic amount of resistance, but I imagine it could be a problem keeping them firmly fixed to the floor. The red sections on the wheel have a slighly rubberised feel, too, making the wheel nicer to hold. The wheel's casing easily and firmly clamps to the computer desk, but unfortunately the wheel has a bit of movement in the casing itself, which could be an issue if you're playing more demanding racing games. If, like me, you're not massively into racing games, or play truck sims and just want a decent quality racing wheel for not too much money, then this is a very good buy. If you take your racing games very seriously and are aiming to recreate an arcade quality experience - you may want to spend more money on a more advanced wheel. Like most things, you get what you pay for.The only thing I find slightly annoying is the bright red LED that shines constantly underneath the Ferrari logo.In conclusion, a very impressive budget wheel.

* Download and Install the drivers for PC/Windows from the Thrustmaster website first*This Steering wheel comes with 90 deg turn on each side (LEFT and RIGHT). Hence this is good for beginners, and not for serious gamers. After plugging to the USB port, the steering wheel was detected without any issues. The drivers did not detect the Pedals first. So I plugged out all parts, and then plugged in as instructed sequence. The driver control panel then detected the Steering wheel AND pedal flawlessly. The pedals are not weighted. Hence they must be bolted to a suitable track or you have to use one leg to hold them in place, and use your RIGHT leg to play with the pedals. The steering wheel is decently sensitive and offers good control over the movements. As many would know - the steering and its drivers are just 50% of the solution. The remaining 50% comes from the game you intend to play with. If your games does not support certain buttons, or offers pathetic AXIS support then it is useless. Anyway, the steering wheel has the fourway buttons on either side, hence this can be used as a pseudo gamepad in worst case.I installed NFS games and it was FUN playing with a steering wheel. The accelerator pedal and brakes are awesome. Euro truck simulator is extremely good to play with.Overall very satisfied with the steering wheel for my Windows PC.

Ok, this is a decent games wheel for people who enjoy racing or sim games but are not "dedicated" racing enthusiasts. Consider this, if you enjoy taking pictures but are not a dedicated photographer, you may buy a compact, easy to use camera, not a DSLR with a variety of lenses, filters etc. It's the same for this wheel. If you are a dedicated racing sim enthusiast, there are better, more versatile (more expensive) wheels out there. If you just enjoy playing racing games occasionally or truck sims then this wheel is more than adequate. It works fine on my PC with the games I have. There are plenty of buttons to customise to suit most needs and tastes. The pedals work well but it is here that the product drops a point. The base doesn't grip carpet very well so I've had to put a piece of wood under my desk for it to press against to stop it walking away; a minor issue but one to be aware of. I have heard of people gluing Velcro to the base to grip the carpet; again, it's an option. This is my second Thrustmaster Ferrari racing wheel; the first lasted about two years then one of the pedals broke. Considering the use it received, I'm not too disappointed with this.So to summarise, it's a decent product for the price and it is easy to set up and to use.

I've recently got interested in iRacing and was finding it very difficult using an xbox controller to race a car. iRacing is a subscription based service, and I'd bought a 1 year subscription. I couldn't see myself progressing very far as things were so I decided to invest a modest amount on this wheel.I'd love a G27 or similar (Fanatec?), but for now this has transformed my racing and stopped me regretting paying up front for a year of iRacing! It all feels very solid and the wheel has a nice strong but smooth spring to it. The pedals are big - my size 11's with shoes on don't have a problem. One tip, and I didn't read the instructions which make this very clear .. make sure you switch the switch to 'PC'from 'PS3', or you'll be sat wondering why the accelerator and brake pedals are not progressive for an hour like I did!It works fine in iRacing, Assetto Corsa and CityCarDriving, oh and F1 2013 too.It doesn't have force-feedback, which I didn't think to check when I was buying.I'm now more determined than ever to upgrade to another level of wheel as soon as I can.Highly recommended and would buy again.

I bought this for 3800 or something when there was a discount and does it deliver? Hell yea. I mean this is a very good entry level racing wheel. Only downside is that it only rotates 90° to both sides. Other than that it is extremely good and will give a great experience in any car racing games especially F1 2017 and Project Cars 2 both for which i mainly use but I'm sure it will work for other titles too. The pedals are good except the whole thing moves around when you press hard. You have to put a weight on to support it. The paddle shifters are excellent. It's very easy to attach and detach. Just connect the pedals to the wheel and the wheel to pc via usb and install with the provided cd and you're good to go.For enjoying all those realistic car racing games out there look no further this is the cheapest and most value for money wheel.

I bought this for some realistic racing and I got it but it has some flaws! One things it's 180 Degrees not 900 degrees which most games use nowadays so it will be a problem to get it set up.It's seriously sensitive with even the slightest touch sending the car flying! Thankfully I found some fixes! In Euro Truck Simulator 2,set steering linearity to 10 and steering sensitivity all the way to 0! Also the games that work best with this are Project Cars 1 & 2 and F1 2014 as you can calibrate the wheels to 180 Degrees! Hopefully you got some help! Update:For any racing games I recommend setting steering sensitive and linearity to 0 and steering deadzone to 1,works well for ets2 and other racinggames after playing around a bit!

Great little wheel. Not perfect. But still nice for the price.Doesn't have force feedback. But the feeling is nicely weighted. The buttons are nicely placed and feel nice in operation. The paddle shift feel a little cheap, but operate with a nice click and seem strong enough. The peddles can be adjust a little. You need to unscrew the foot pad and can turn them round. As supplied, they're fitted with one "up" and the other "Down." I've adjusted mine so they're both at the lower setting - I have relatively small feet.Until I can get the wheel I want (it's well over £100) this one will do. It's far better than using a 360 controller. You just have to spend time getting the settings just right for you.

When I first saw this product I thought it was too cheap compared to other wheels but I took the risk. The postage was free and it did arrive in good time which was something I was worried about. When I got it was reasonable easy to configure, however you have to get the user manual online. It performs well with the steering and petals having good resistance which makes it easier to make precise movements. The negative is that the pedals (on carpet) does not stay put and gradual gets pushed away from your feet. (It would probably stay put on a wooden floor because of rubber on the bottom). A great product, lets just hope it lasts!!

very pleased with this steering wheel. Bought it for my grandson to play Euro Truck 2 on his PC and he was able at age 11yrs to download the drivers of the sellers site and set it up it was so easy. but it works so well with Euro Truck 2and there are so many adjustments besides the steering that you can set up like aceleration, Braking, Headlights dipped and full, indicators. this bring Euro Truck 2 to life and makes driving such a pleasure. the steering is sharp and positive.Well done thrustmaster.

For the money, it's brilliant. Key mapping can be a bit of a pain in some games. Just take some time to set it up and you be lapping like Lewis in no time. No force feedback but the recoil is great and makes it a pleasure to drive. Would deffo recommend. I paid about 45 squid, atvtaht price it's a bargain. Pedals are also excellent, I made a trap to hold them down as they were kind of lively at first.

16.6.2014

I have primarily used this wheel for Euro Truck Simulator and I couldn't ask for a better device, all the buttons are mappable meaning you are able to bind the wipers, indicators and lights making the game far more immersive. The quality of the wheel is brilliant however the foot pedals tend to slip on carpet which can be irritating, but other than that it is perfect

19.4.2017

The wheel feels sturdy and was easy to set up. The only gripe I have is with the bungee cord fitting. I much prefered my older Thrustmaster Wheel as it had two settings for Force Feedback and off. This gave you a much lighter feel and was more responsive. Saying that, for the price, it does the job. So will stick with it unless I decide to spend a little more.

19.6.2015

This product is great if you are looking for a basic entry level steering wheel to get into games like Project Cars. Only 180 degrees of rotation but that is the norm for low priced wheels. If you want more rotation in the wheel then you are going to have to pay a bit more for a different wheel.I give this wheel a solid 87/100.

Great budget steering wheel and pedals. I had to make a pedal box out of wood to stop the pedals slipping around the floor. Setup for gran turismo was easy after reading the manual . Works very well on ps3 and pc. A great product for a great price.
