I suffer terribly with cold hands and feet once the temperatures drop. I say terribly but although I believe I suffer with Reynolds syndrome, its not as bad as others get it.I like to cycle and struggle to enjoy my autumn/winter/spring rides as my feet cold cold to the point of going numb. I layer up intelligently, foil under the shoes footbed and on the toe cap, winter shoes, tried various types of socks etc. Nothing works. The problem is that my body withdraws the blood supply to my feet so no matter what I do, I can't keep heat in my feet if their central heating system has been turned off.The best these socks could do on full power for the duration of my rides is stop my feet from going totally painfully numb.
