This stuff pack came out a long time ago and for anyone interested in buying it I'd immediately advise you to go for the Festive Holiday stuff pack instead, it is basically the same product as this but with 20 additional objects added. Now onto the game itself:This pack installs quickly and it's important that if you are buying lots of expansion packs that you install them in the correct order as not doing this can confuse the game and make it unplayable. This pack is all about xmas but don't be thinking like all the other reviewers that there is no new gamplay added. sims can now hold New Year's parties and have santa visit their lot. A new year's party is arranged just like all other parties by using the phone,the only difference is the time it starts. All the guests will arrive at about 6pm and then the party begins. The guests don't wear anything new or act differently except for sometimes banging saucepans to make some noise.If your party isn't stopped by the police (and unfortunately a lot of mine have been which is a minor bug that should have been fixed) then at about 11pm Father Time comes to your lot and stands somewhere on the pavement. He stands there until midnight when all the sims at the party gather around him and wait for him to change, marking the new year.The other new feature is santa on the lot. He appears if you have a xmas tree and always leaves something like a toy race car or chess set. You can also chat to santa like a regular sim and sims get the 'met santa' memory to keep forever.There are some nice new objects for sims to decorate their houses with, in fact there are so many things incuding wallpaper with xmas banners on it that you'll either keep the house decorated all year round or might not bother decorating that much as there's so much stuff to delete after xmas is over. But if you like xmas objects then this stuff pack is great.Along with all the new objects are sims abilities to turn into Mr and Mrs Claus via new outfits and hairdos and also the chance to cook a holiday roast. The holiday roast can only be cooked by a sims of about 6 cooking skill and only seems to be available on the fridge door if you have a cornucopia on the lot somewhere.This stuff pack doesn't require any online activation, it doesn't even need a code to be installed I believe, and won't ask you to use it's disc to play. If you HAVN'T got a xmas stuff pack yet though and you want one these day please consider the festive holiday stuff pack instead. It really is this exact pack but with 20 objects added. So it's worth going for the newer version, but this game is still fun without those 20 new items!Great game and recommend to anyone who wants to put xmas into their sims lives :)

Oh my God. I love to play sims. This Christmas Party pack added a lot of content to my game.I Have completed my collection, and would love to give reviews on all the Christmas content that this pack has on YouTube.This not only has Christmas stuff but all holiday seasons like Halloween, Easter and Valentine day. With this pack you will not only be happy but will make every last one of your sims happy. Thank you very much i love this.
