Great bulb to replace one of the old energy-guzzling ones. The only weak point is that these type of bulbs are obviously designed for ceiling lights because the filament will only be completely hidden by the mirror head if the bulb is used upside down. In case it is put in a table lamp, however, the filament remains partly visible and is quite dazzling (although the bulb has only 4W).

Prices of these are still silly, but this make is superb and qualitative. It has revived track light fittings that otherwise are too inefficient to use. Thankfully we have returned to light!

Superb, exactly what I was looking for
