This is good for both fans of the anime or the new comers.It has all the characters you love however it does not run along the same story as the anime/manga. Some characters have different background stories on how they met or came into the Virtual world etc.Good Gameplay with easy combat controls and a great flying mechanic which takes some getting used to. A bit repetitive, but it is fairly enjoyable. I play it more for the story than the gameplay at this point. I really like the SAO storyline and enjoy watching all the different characters get together like that. One thing that REALLY bothers me is the Custom Avatar creation. Two hairstyles, two outfits, and three voices. It's a joke. We can't even pick the gender of our custom avatar. You want a beast taming race? You have to play as female. You want the Salamandar? You gotta be a guy.

Bought this over a week ago it came within 2 days very quick delivery, the game itself is very good if you are a huge SAO fan you will love it even more (like me) A lot of people with find the combat very repetitive as it is but i still enjoy it a lot. The is game is like a virtual novel and SPRPG game in one! All of the original characters and more are found in this game and you can play as any of them not just Kirito. I highly recommend this game if you're an SAO fan!

This game does seem a little reptative but on the whole it is rather fun and adictive I've not got very far as I write this but I often find it hard to put down and that to me is a mark of a good game. Granted I have watched both season of the anime and found that enjoyable which may colour my opioion of this game. I have learnt not to pay much attention to the Japanese dialogue in the cut seens and through the game play but concentrate on the game itself which i like.

I loved the SAO anime so when this game was released I had to buy it, in my opinion in has a very good story arc completely separate from the anime, the gameplay is good if not a little repetitive (but I'm fine with it), if you are a fan of SAO I recommend giving this game a go.

love it, love it, love it. Bought this for my son who is a big SAO fan, after half hour watching him my hands started twitching and I couldn't wait to pack him off to bed so I can play, really great fun!

Purchased for my son and happy to say I didnt see him for 3 days when he was not working as he was playing this game he is very pleased with it and has played it a lot

Not as fun as Hollow Fragment, and quite a lot shorter, it's nevertheless a fun game that captures the characters well and fuels any decent SAO addiction.

Great game if your a fan of the anime. However I wish it began before at the beginning of the storyline rather than after when they have beat the game.
