Just arrived... on first inspection it looks well made and sturdy. It's fine for what I want... it'll sit in an art gallery and be used for ensuring pictures are level.My only negative comment would be that the bubble doesn't totally fill between the two marks ie. there's about 1mm each end of the bubble before the lines. It's easy enough to judge that the bubble is dead centre yourself, but I'm just a bit surprised it's not spot-on as it allows a degree of guess work.As noted in another review, the bottom is not magnetic - though it does not claim to be in the description. Also, the bottom is not machined smooth - it's just painted. Compare this to my 1200mm Stanley builders level,

Pretty good, but that's no surprise from this manufacturer. It's a spirit level so there's not much to say, Stabila have the reputation for making the very best spirit levels and this product is up to their usual high standards, apart from those plastic end caps which just look and feel cheap and nasty. That said, they don't detract from the working aspect of the product they just make it look a little less businesslike. The level is small and light, so it's ideal for a small portable tool-kit.

German quality kit so pretty good for a short level. However athough it has its place in your toolbox don't expect this level to be particularly accurate over longer distances. Only use it if there is no other option due to space constraints and certainly don't buy this level just as a cost saving exercise.

You won't find a better boat level.My father has had his for 25 years and apart from the plastic bits gone walkabouts it is still fine. This is why i have bought this, to stand the test of time.

Quality item, well made and very sturdy, the levels on both orientations are very accurate. Worth paying extra over cheapo Chinese uncalibrated levels.

This is brilliant when working at height and slips into the pocket easily. Light and versatile with the comfort that it is also extremely accurate.

what can you say about theStabila 70t Torpedo Level 250mm 02199 ... that hasnt been said. Top tradsman tool for over 30 years.

Cheap and simple does what it says on the box.Ihave had mire expensive levels and they all do the same job so why pay more

Well built item. It feels very sturdy. Did exactly what I needed it to, and hopefully will last years to come.

More expensive than many on the market, but Stabila is a name you can trust. The level worked accurately.

Needs a magnetic base but my own fault for buying this one. Other than that very good level all round

Had this for a while now. Spot on levelling. Robust. Everything you want from this size of level.

Good quality product. More expensive that cheap levels but a much better quality product.
