When I was a boy (I'm now nearly 82), my Father showed me how to check the accuracy of spirit levels. You check the bubble position and then reverse the level (left to right) and check it again. If the spirit-level is accurate, the bubble is the same in both cases. This level is absolutely spot-on. Perfectly accurate.My Father was a bricklayer and had an old (much used) wooden level that was slightly out. He always checked the level both ways and then bisected the two lines to get a perfect level line.This level is perfect and doesn't need to be "adjusted" in that way. Having read several reviews of Stabila spirit levels, I fully expected the level to be perfect.

Great product, but I was a bit worried in case the bubble got damaged, so I thought I would make some myself for spares. I managed to produce several by using a bicycle pump in a bowl of water, but I found it very difficult to produce any of the right shape and colour to fit into the level. I did manage to produce a few of the correct shape and size and have stored them all safely in a ziplock bag, apart from one which I left on my workbench.Update:Now several weeks later and can't find the bubble I left on the workbench. Also, the ones in the ziplock bag have all mysteriously disappeared as well, so I need to have a re-think about storage as there is clearly more involved in this than I first thought.

I bought this as I was about to lay a complete new patio, steps and paths hence needed a longer spirit level. My local tool suppliers and a well known DIY store were either sold out or much more expensive so it was £12 cheaper than any other in stock, I took a chance and ordered this one from Amazon and it arrived within 36 hours, perfectly packed, brand new in sealed shrink plastic and it does exactly what it designed to do. My other levels are Stabila and they have given good, accurate service for many years, are nicely weighted, not too wide to handle, the vials are soundly mounted so what else can you need..a good price for a good working product.

The Stabila 70-2-90 Level 90cm/36in 70236 was bought to assist in laying slabs down for our new shed.^^ It's a bright yellow colour so hard to lose!^^ The length is just right for what we needed. 36 inches is a good size for these large, heavy concrete slabs we have.^^ Accurate to + or - 1mm per meter.^^ Great price.^^ Sturdy and reliable.^^ Strong.^^ Has an electrostatic powder coating^^ Includes three vials. One horizontal and two vertical.Overall:We are very happy with this purchase and happily recommend it.

I was suspicious how accurate my 'professional' levels bought from the leading trade supplier were. This level has opened my eyes. The bubble moves much more quickly meaning that the smallest movement changes its position. Wherever I need accuracy I place the Stabila short level on top of my cheaper, longer levels. Over time I hope to replace these as well. In this case you definitely get what you pay for.

Good quality product for far less than you would pay at the merchants of DIY stores.Only annoyance I had was with Yodel delivery. They did actually deliver first time, but I had a text saying they needed more information. There isn't anybody you can speak to about this so wasted my time trying then they delivered it fine anyway. I know for free delivery can't complain too much but was still annoying.

We've had one of these before...always dropping it!But now we have this one we see (for the first time...arghhh!) that there is a hole near one end which would be perfect for hanging it from a nail on the wall, upright.Oh dear, we are daft.The level itself is well made and accurate.Very happy with this Bought one for our son too.

Very pleased with the new level had some use already,a little on the light side but does not detract from the quality,it is a fast bubble to settle as is always the case with this make,i have had my short stabila level for about 40 years the bubble is not so easy to read now but still usable.you will not go far wrong with stabila.

A colleague recommended stabila to me. He said they're worth their weight in gold.He's not wrong. This tool has helped me loads on site and is dead reliable. Great for marking out positions on walls and keeping your projects level.Quite durable as well. I've dropped mine a few times as you do, and it still reads accurately.

I bought this to help level the battens for 3 ceilings I'm going to underboard. It is well built, a comfortable weight and doubles as a useful straight edge for cutting plasterboard etc, The vials well protected encased in acrylic and a laser level confirmed its accuracy . A very useful piece of kit.

Good quality level, checked for accuracy on arrival and was spot on straight out of the package. I have a couple of Stabila levels already and found them to be tough and reliable. Have used it for fitting wall panels and found it easy to read and use. Wife happy with panels so on to the next job.

Top notch bit of kit. As a seasoned DIYer with a preference for good tools rather than the cheapest, this has impressed me. Knowing several trades people who use stabila as their daily levels, I can see exactly why; lightweight,a nice true edge, and a very very good repeatable level given.

Bought this to replace a much used Stabila level. You can't go wrong with this. Very accurate and stays accurate even through the rigors of building, i.e. leaving it outside in the rain covered in mortar. Better than any cheap chinese rubbish commonly available and seemingly taking over

This is a very good quality level from Stabila. The level is very well balanced and feels solid without being too heavy. The 3 vials are clear and accurate at both ends and in the middle. There are also 2 plastic bumpers at the ends for added protection. Recommended.

I purchased this to replace the same make as like a plonker, I dropped the old one. For the price you can't go wrong in my opinion. Checked it against a known flat surface and it was level. Well boxed no issues. I also use it as a straight edge which works for me.
