What a great tool! I purchased this to use in my sewing room. I have a large acrylic ruler (6 x 24 inches) which is very good but when using my rotary cutter I keep catching the edge of the ruler and sometimes struggle to hold it in place. This spirit level ruler has a handle which is very usesful and makes holding the ruler steady easier and because it is thinner and firmer than the acrylic one, the rotary blade just glides along without catching the edges. a very useful piece of equipment for the sewing room and of course would be very good for intended purposes around the home. Definitely recommended.

Solid and affordable aluminium ruler. Bought to help me prepare mount boards for my photos as some of them can be quite big so I needed something sturdy and with a handle (one of the main reasons I chose this model).Although I have managed to dent it as the cutting knife slides next to it I can’t really blame that on the product, but on myself.I know it also has spirit levels but have never used them so I can’t comment on them and their supposed “crookedness”.

I needed a new long steel rule for a spot of wallpapering in the living room. I'm not one for using wallpaper scissors, so prefer to clamp the end of the paper down and slice with a Stanley knife.I have to knock off a star as the item was slightly warped and did't sit totally flat against the wall - but it has improved over time. This was most likely an issue caused in transit.Although not crucial to me, the spirit level gauges seemed accurate enough.

As long as you are not expecting a precision piece of kit and if you are a DIYer or light user this is more than adequate for the price. I have bought mine for a straight edge to use craft knifes and scalpels so beware to be careful if you are doing the same due to its aluminium construction it can be damaged by a sharp knife or blade.

First thing I did on receiving this ruler was to see how flat it was as my main use will be cutting eva foam. I was very impressed with how flat it came. It's also very sturdy. I needed something longer for long cuts and this was just the job. My daughter bought at the same time for fabric cutting and is also very happy.

I bought this product to help me trim prints. It's very easy to hold in position and I've had no problem running a sharp knife along the edge. Having a handle is a bonus for me as I don't trust myself not to loose a few fingers! Very smooth operation and affordable compared to some. Very nice.

Much better than i could have imagined. This ruler in my opinion is extremely well made.The ruler can move when cutting or marking out. To combat this I glued a thin pieces of leather to the underside of the ruler, with the rough side down for grip. This works very well.

This is a good item. Very useful for marking out etc. Unfortunately my 1st one was damaged in transit. I contacted the seller and a replacement was shipped out quickly. I am very impressed with the service provided and would definitely recommend.

Bought to trim photos (Costco in the UK still seem to not know about metric sized photo frames). I just love the shiny aluminium finish, I'm thrilled by the metric and imperial units and (saved until last) the joy of having two spirit levels...

It’s been great for decorating but when I received it the ruler had a chip in either side so wasn’t totally smooth and straight. Luckily it wasn’t a massive problem for us but it could well be for other people depending on what you need it for.

Great straight edge and a really good size. The handle is really useful. I've used it more than I thought I would. However the integrated spirit level is not accurate, so don't buy this if this is a key requirement for your purchase.

Does what it does. Provides a nice solid edge to mark or cut from. I have used this for chopping carpet tiles and it's done it's job well. Haven't even looked at the spirit level but I'm sure the bubble's in the right place!

this is perfect, accuracy is great, measuring is easy and marking for picture frames and other DIY activities has been made easy and simple. Build quality is fantastic and price is great.Would definitely recommend this.

Bought to assist with my artwork. Just what I required and the handle and level is a great help. Started to use bigger boarding so has helped to easily measure for my write ups and framing exercises. Great piece of kit!

excellent item, just right for use on wipe board! Had to wrap some rubber bands around the ends to stop it from moving whilst using it to draw lines, which were perfectly straight thanks to the spirit levels inside.
