I just purchased this phone in recent days, and I can honestly say that it's the best phone I have ever used - style-wise, functionality, battery performance, screen size - it just has everything. I got the silver version, and despite having previously been more of a fan of the darker coloured phones, I had no regrets getting this colour, it looks fantastic, and feels so comfortable in the hand. The finger print scanner is also amazing, very accurate and only allows the users fingerprint to open up the phone.All I can say is a massive well done Sony! for taking a new leap in design, as this one really did pay off. I would like to address however to users of previous Sony phones,

Full pack. Earphones, attachments, jack to c-type converter. Super. Only I don't like is that something rattling inside if you tap to it can here, but I believe it's normal and can be ignored. Finger print is 100% perfect place. No idea what the YouTube reviewers... you don't have to think where is the sensor to unlock you phone, just take your phone like it would be already unlocked and your finger will bet right on the sensor. My hands big and partner's small but that's nothing change.

I was replacing my Samsung Galaxy S7 and this is streets ahead in terms of performance and battery life.It easily lasts the whole day on a full charge, the fingerprint reader is very quick to respond.The body of the phone feels strong, unlike my old S7 which cracked in my pocket.The XZ2 was cheaper than the equivalent Samsung phones and performs brilliantly.

This is best Sony phone I had. I have had numerous over the years.Perfect size, and not too heavy.Some nice surprising features.Speed is excellent flicking through and great storage. Only minor niggle, I still like a memory card, but with two sims you cant use. But thats me.Go for it! Camera excellent!

A great phone with pretty much all the latest features you need AND upgradeable to the latest Android version (Pie as of now).Water resistant and all that good stuff too.Didn't have a 3.5mm to type-c converter for some reason, which is annoying, but oh well, t'was a bargain to begin with.

Just a fantastic all round phone. Battery life easily lasts a full day even if gaming or using remote play feature. The super slow mo is a game changer. Would be nice to record a little longer in 960fps but still for a phone it's a fantastic feature. I highly recommend this phone to anyone!

Upgraded from the xz and honestly the best decision I've made buying this. The screen is amazing and everything runs so well! The battery lasts me over a day of heavy use and the camera has some great features and is of great quality too

I actually live in the Caribbean so I'm still awaiting it but from what I've seen it looks as good as new as per description and it arrived ahead of time. There will be an update to the review once I have tested the performance.

Amazing phone, quite thick and heavy but brilliant 4k screen, ultra reliable, and has THE most perfect fingerprint sensor for us left handed people (middle rear, as opposed to right side).

Excellent phone arrived on time no messing about, very quick phone overall including very quick WiFi connection, it's a beautiful phone very happy with it.

Easy to use, nice to hold, battery life is amazing compared to apple. Screen is bright, oh, and its android not that apple muck.
