These are fantastic! They call them medium, but really there are pretty thick. Well they're certainly extremely warm. The fit is the best thing about them, very well formed to the foot in a way I've never felt in a sock before. The fact that they are merino wool also means that they do much better at restisting odour than other fabrics. For strenuous activity that means that at the end of the day you won't stink, and if just wearing casually it means you don't have to wash them after one use.

I generally wear a size 11.5 shoe, i purchased the large size and these fit my feet well. The padding and stitch of these socks is perfect for nordic ski boots. The sock stays where it is supposed to and it helped eliminate the friction that leads to blisters.

Can be a bit too snuggly and tight and therefore uncomfortable. I've also tried a larger size but then it was too long. Otherwise has all the merino wool qualities: keeps warm and does not smell.

I am a fan of Smartwool PhD Nordic socks. They are a perfect match with my Russell Moccasins. I have only worn the socks in 20 degree Fahrenheit snowy weather. My feet were warm and comfortable.

We purchased as present. It seems to go to the company. I did not smell and was pleased that it was very good.
