Are you silky or bacho Laplander? That's what you constantly hear! Well I'm silky. Great price, easy to get a new blade (can't get actual Laplander blades easily) and so good at the job it's made for. The cuts are so fine allowing for tidy cuts and quick healing. You hear about the back pull, well this allows for a much tidier cut that doesn't rip the wood or put strain on the saw. Will slowly build a range of these as they are such great quality and exactly what's needed for a quality job.

Silky saws were recommended by my tree surgeon. I already had a folding pruning saw but in no way was it as good as the Silky. Cuts on the back stroke as per other pruning saws but the blade is so sharp it cuts through limbs very easily. Would say its the best saw I've used, definitely worth getting one if you do tree pruning.

Chose this saw after reading the reviews and i'm very pleased with it. Light, compact, extremely sharp and easy to use, cuts through branches effortlessly on the pull stroke. Should have bought one years ago would have saved so much time when compared to my existing saw.

Super sharp with replacement blade avaliable . Decent cut but seems slow as a pull only blade. Lost a star as when putting pressure on the blade, usually clips into second position. Decent build quality and comfortable size.

I was told if i wanted a good pruning saw, buy a good one. A Silky. So i did and am very pleased with it. And i have thanked my friend for for his sound recommendation, to which he said" told you", enough said.

Very nice small saw. Cuts very quickly. I looked at the other small silky’s and the bahco Laplander but I think this one is the best for size and performance. I really like it and am glad I chose this one.

I used it for a weekend bushcrafting. It's light weight, well made and cuts great. I used it a lot cutting wood to a good length for the fire. I'd recommend this saw to anyone

great saw be ideal for me to use at work as i work in a woodland and need a handy little saw as my superviser has a silky and i had a go and thought i gotta get one

Amazing quality of cut, Incredibly sharp and efficient, lightweight and of a handy size to keep in a trouser pocket or in the van. I've even felled trees with this!

A compact brilliant designed garden saw.It cuts through all sizes of branches with ease.The hardened blades stay sharp after much use.

Have used Silky saws for decades the 180, and gomtaro 300 , they do a great job also great for cutting sheet ply and shed building .

Well worth the premium over other makes as the blade is incredibly sharp and the saw folds up very neatly, with no "wobble" in use..

A wonderful find - having reached my eighties, wish It had arrived in my younger days. An essential pruning tool.

Great! Cuts well and handily folds up, but for more frequent use a samurai saw would be a better option.
