I had some tree branches I had to cut down and was considering an electric saw until I saw some of the Amazon reviews. This saw was a third of the price with no clumsy wire and dispatched the tree branches in no time. The blade is brilliant and the saw is light and easy to use in narrow spaces. It is too easy sometimes to get sucked into needed the latest power tool the advertising man is waving under your nose but this quality saw was much more fit for purpose and will probably last a lot longer.

Absolutely flippin’ brilliant! I had to prune back part of a largish ash tree that was too near my neighbours roof and it did the job extremely well both with the rather large trunk and with the branches. I wasn’t sure if it would be too small for the job but it was just right and i’m glad I didn’t opt for the 21” bow saw. It has saved me a lot of money and the only downside is that I have now found out how heavy ash tree trunks can be.

Hot knife and butter springs to mind, does the job with little effort, just the saw for the tree branches that can't be done with pruning shears.Comfortable hand grip I did the trees at the bottom of my garden in quick time.I thought about getting a bigger saw or even a chain saw but my wife talked me out of spending a lot of money for a relative small job and I have to admit she was right.Hooray for common sense.

Cuts like butter, even on branches a couple of inches thick. Bought to help give our very long hedge a trim around the base which had become very overgrown. The shape of the saw means it is much easier to get into awkward, small spaces than a half-moon shaped saw would be. I liked the shortish blade, meant that it was easier to keep it vertical when cutting.

I used this tool for hedging a pretty old and tough hedge and it really did the job getting right into the hedge. Despite a bit of twisting and catching as you would expect from this sort of task the tool should up well and blade remained in one piece and sharp over about 20 meters (so far).

I found this by chance but it's the best saw I've had in 25 years of backpacking and bothying: it's lightweight, compact enough to strap on to a rucksack yet big enough to cut reasonably-sized logs for firewood and has a detachable blade guard. It's highly recommended for outdoors use.

A good strong saw, helped me to cut thick branches, the very jaggered teeth made it at times difficult to get the sawing motion happening as it would get stuck (a finer teeth would have been more helpful I think), but with some elbow grease it did what I needed it to do.

Having used other makes of bows saws and found I might as well have used a butter knife , I finally decided to try and find a previous saw I once owned by the name of sandvik ,I know this now to be bacho , it was worth the research as I now own a quality saw again .

Have not actually used it yet it was bought as a present.for a woman, on inspection it looks up to standard and Bahco has a good name in the trade. So I do not really expect any problems. The service was quick and good.

Easy to use with (as one would expect) nice sharp teeth - albeit somewhat larger than I'm accustomed to with previous bowsaws. All in all a good, fit-for-purpose, handy little saw.

Ideal for dealing with awkwardly placed branches where a bigger saw frame won't go. Like this little tool a lot. (Wish I could find somewhere to buy the blade guard.)

Good quality pruning saw. Smaller than I expected, should have paid more attention to it's measurements. But good saw for pruning garden trees and bushes.

The saw's tapered nose is Ideal for those pruning jobs where lack of space between branches is evident. Deals with some big stuff too with relative ease.

An excellent tool. Very easy to manoeuvre, even up a ladder, and used to cut some thick trucks, some over4" thick.Highly recommended and great value

this is a light weight saw, but its superb. The blade is excellent and it has not let me down, so much so ....now going to buy a second as a present!
