It's really slim , lightweight and very easy to use , just plug in and start transfer your files.Average transfer speed from the hard drive to laptop it's around 100mb/s which is very good ,but this can be used as a external hard drive for a game console as well.It supports cloud backup with Adobe creative cloud photography planAndroid compatibility would have been great as this only works with Windows and Mac but it does the job extremely well as all Seagate products.Highly recommended

Love the design of this hard drive it’s very sleek and easy to carry on the go as it is very portable and can fit in any pocket or handbag. I also found it very easy to use from the on screen instructions and it stores a huge amount of photos, videos and variety of documents which is great for when you need to back of your files due to lack of storage space on your devices e.g. laptop, mobile phone and can easily access any of the stored files at any time.

If you need an external hard drive that packs a punch but you can't afford to take up too much space in your bag or purse, this is the one to get! It is slim and can be carried very easily. I don't think I have ever had a problem using mine and I honestly think I need a second just to store my personal photos. The only thing that couldn't keep up was the little cable it had but that`s not really on the cable as it is on me.

This has been a life saver. Our main PC has been on the blink for a while and I genuinely thought our years of photos would go down with it! This has stored hundreds of pictures from over the years and still has room! It was so quick and easy to install and straight forward to use. It was a lot smaller than I thought which is great for storing away and is very light too! I don't think you can go wrong with it!

Easy to set up on laptop. I’m not a computer expert so will need to explore how to use backup more effectively. Not much instruction included in packaging, hence to explore more. Very portable device and will come in handy for future use, ie family photos and work documents. Looks expensive and seems high quality. Only negative is lack of instruction for first time user.

The Seagate Backup Plus Portable Hard Drive is a good bit of kit to make it easier to store you photos and videos or its a good little backup for a console user trying to make space on your console without deleting games you may want to play later and the size of the hard drive doesn't take up a lot of space

The lead is only about 12 inches long so I had to pay extra and order a 3ft lead. It has a new connection I don't recognise so none of my leads would fit. It seems to work very fast so I have no problems with the item itself. But I would have rather paid a couple of pounds more and had a decent length lead.

This product is an excellent idea, a way to store all my pics in one place, I must have thousands of pics and a few vids too especially from Snapchat , I've now just transferred everything from my phone to here, more storage on my phone now, definitely recomeet to those with high photo storage

Worked seamlessly with my Mac.Connected it and the drive icon appeared straight away where I was expecting to see it.Data transfer seemed fast, but I don't really have anything with which to compare it.Very pleased with the purchase.

This hard drive was ready to use straight out of the box. It is compatible with Windows and Mac computers which is a plus! The slimline design makes it easy to store. It has a huge amount of storage and should last me quite a while!

I needed a replacement Time Machine for my Mac, and this is doing the job perfectly. It takes up a fraction of the space of my old external hard drive, it's quiet and so far trouble free, and the original set up was easy.

Cheap and easy way to get a lot of storage. Immediately worked with my MAC and didn’t need to do any configurations. Didn’t feel like an SSD instead would have made any difference for my usage case

has space for plenty of games for ps4, took a few minutes to step up the games on the other hand took hours to transfer across from internal storage but games still run smoothly
