Works as well as previous Seagate drives I purchased.Being formatted as ex-fat rather than fat32 caught me unawares. It would not work with my Linux operating system laptop. Of course the box packaging states only Windows and Mac but once I installed extra software on the laptop it worked fine. Seagate is missing out on extra sales by not disclosing that it can be made to work under Linux.

Fast and easy set up. Bought it as an extra drive to put DVDs of TV programs and movies on only for when travelling and on holiday.

Plugged it in to my iMac , reformatted and pointed Time-Machine to use it. That's it. Working fine in the background.
