I bought this a few months ago. It works fine, I use it as a backup drive for photos and video. Transfer speeds are average for this type of drive. One thing to note this drive needs to be connected directly to your PC or Mac or it will fail to properly mount. If you use a hub it will not work properly as it may disconnect. I have tested this on both My Mac and PC.
