I really found this easy to set up and use. My favourite feature is that you can schedule back ups on it so you know that you are always covered. It also came with a guarantee already loaded on it along with a user guide so everything was easily accessible. It is pretty much a plug and play scenario though so you don’t need to do much except plug it in before you can start saving your items on to it. It feels quite sturdy as well so I feel it will be very durable. The amount of space is great!

The Seagate 4TB portable hard drive is compact and powerful. It’s small enough to fit easily in your hand and is therefore easily portable. Set up is difficult if you don’t have an internet connection as the set-up booklet is little more than pictures of a USB lead connecting a computer and the hard drive with a note that internet connection is required. - not great if you’re on the move when trying to set it up. That said, it works well as a drag and drop extra hard drive.

This is a really well made and compact portable hard drive. It's small enough that you can easily take it with you (I've included a little Lego lady for perspective in the pictures). The body is made out of metal and matt plastic, which seems to dissipate the heat really well. It transfers over USB3 which is good, although with the huge capacity it will still take a while to fill up if doing a bulk data transfer.Very simple plug and play (Only tested with Windows)

This Seagate backup drive is a great product IF you use it for it's intended purpose.If you are looking for a backup drive that will be used infrequently for backing up data and occasionally restoring data then look no further as this product does the job perfectly, has plenty of storage and is great value for money.The backup drive is quick and easy to set up too, simply plug it into a USB port and you are up and running in no time at all.

I just plugged it in, loaded the software that is on the drive itself and it took me through setting up an hourly backup of my PC. Only thing I would suggest for an improvement would be that I would like the pop-up box which tells you it is working (I have mine set to come up at start up) to give a bit more information. Having said that, I have tested the ability to retrieve a file and that was easy as pie.

This is very easy to set up and use, more so than other makes I have owned. Personally this is more storage than I can ever fill so this will last me a long time!

Just what I needed. External storage at 4TB is immense. I needed a new external hardrive and this one is perfect. No set up needed just plug in and go.
