This is a very impressive pan, it's very large and works brilliantly on our new induction hob. Yes it's expensive, but you really do get what you pay for. Looks great and matches (same make) as the pan set which came free with our Neff Hob. Definitely big enough to boil a ham. Good thick base gives excellent heat distribution and cleans well in the DW. really liked the volume measurements on the inside of the pan - haven't needed them, but better have them and not need them than need them and not have them!Would recommend
