I was a little sceptical about ordering this product as I had seen some negative reviews from a few people. My experience of the product has been perfect!! The colour match to my space grey MacBook Pro 2016 15" TB is almost perfect. The build quality is very good, I did at 1 point put a micro SD card in and got it kind of jammed, but it's only happened once and was probably my stupid fault!The file transfer speed has been magnificent and I'm yet to have a problem with the device. I always like to use only the best accessories with my Apple Products, and I have to say this will be staying in my bag of goodies.I have added some photos for you guys to take a qucik look at too! Mixed reviews made me hesitate, but I am 100% happy I made this purchase. Provides all the connectivity I need for my Macbook in a compact, light, same-colour peripheral. I like to keep things down to a minimum anyway, so only have this plugged in when I am using it, so the negative comments elsewhere about it feeling like it might bend and damage the port if you move it around, or gets too hot are not a concern for me. It fits well enough and does the job. I use it for SD card data reading from DSLR, pass through power, and a couple of other USB things.The wiggle room between connector and port could be less and if it did fit more snugly I'd give it 5*. This dongle is almost flawless coupled with the new macbook. Aesthetically it feels like it is meant to be there and is much more sophisticated than the messy cables apple offer.I only have two issues with this:- the usb-c connection to the mac is very loose and feels like it may easily snap at some point down the road.- no hdmi/display port of any kind. Whilst I accept that this would likely increase the cost they should at least offer alternative combinations of ports so you can choose what will suit your lifestyle.

I bought this for my daughter to use with her MacBook and she is delighted with it. It is very well made and offers an excellent collection of legacy ports.However, you do have to be careful in its use. With the only point of contact being the USB-C plug and that being at one end, you have to be very careful moving the laptop with it connected and it is best used on a table, rather than a lap.Other than that - excellent.

The product itself is very beautiful and the idea brillant. I only am a bit concerned of the hub being connected to the computer when you are not set up on a desk. Meaning that if you are moving around with your computer (which you should do with this amazing Macbook!), the hub is easily moving and I am sometimes a bit scared of the only port of the computer could be damaged...

Absolutely over the moon with this. After going into the apple store and only be advised that I wouldn't be able to use all the accessories I would need for my uni work with my new MacBook, I found a review of this product online and ordered it and it is great. Fits perfectly and has a nice weight to it which holds well in the USB-c slot.

Slightly loose fit but does the job required of it. Colour looks well with the MacBook and provides fast data transfer over usb c and memory card readers. Only negative is that there is no visual output through the usb c port on the adapter.

Pros:- Does the job- Very sleek and seamless design- Highly PortableCons:- Wobbles if using on a laptop due to its TYPE C connector being on one side of the device, thus leaving the rest of the bulk to just be hanging

Works great! Does get a little warm but if your only importing from an sd card etc you will not use it very long. Perfect colour match for the space grey. Wish you made a small case to prevent it getting scratched.

Pretty much what I expected. Solid build quality and ports work well. Does not fit on MBpro as well as it does on Macbook. Only downside is that for some reason Amazon doesn't sell this as space gray in Europe.

It matches the colour of my laptop perfectly and works a treat and i was able to recover lost videos on my go pro by inserting the micro memory card into the card slot ! very happy thanks

Very sleek and gives he much needed expansion to the MacBook. The only downfall is that it generates a bit of heat when the power cable is running through it.

A lovely idea but potentially stresses the USB C socket too much. Could have done with a side molding to grip the side of the MacBook to stabilise the hub.

Great USB-C dock that works great with my new 15" MacBook Pro 2016.Love that it can be used without covering ten 2;nd USP-C port next to it.

The colour matches quite well to my MacBook and its very convenient as all the most important ports are in one.
