I bought these on the premise they were dimmable. They are somewhat dimmable. For some reason the pulse wave goes wrong for me. When it should go dim, bright, brightest it ends up going brightest, bright, brightest, has an irritating flicker, and accompanying noise.I don't know if dimmable LED bulbs get better than this - they may not; but I was disappointed.(used in a product similar to http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pair-Modern-Chrome-Touch-Shades/dp/B00C2S6QB0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1447715211&sr=8-2&keywords=bedside+lamp+touch)
