I’ve always liked the Note phones so I knew what I what to expect when I bought this, although some of the features still pleasantly surprised me. This year however, there is something like 3 different variations of the Note which is good for choice but not so good when features are missing. I naturally would have picked the smaller sized Note 10 but you get penalised for wanting a small phone these days due to missing features like sd card slots and time of flight cameras. I ended up with the 10 plus 5g version and to be honest this should be the only version as it has all the features and the point of the note is to have everything, isn’t it?The Note 10 has made major improvements with features like 4 cameras on the back.Ultra wide pictures look spectacular and it’s time of flight camera allows for some fun with making dancing teddy bears, if that’s what you are into. The speakers sound great and the display is wonderful to look at. It wouldn’t be 2019 if a smartphone review didn’t mention the lack of headphone jack and this is no different, despite the phone having lots of space for one. I would really like to see the jack return as Bluetooth doesn’t quite cut it and usb c to audio adapters offer terrible sound. There is a usb c wired earphones in the box and they sound ok, but no where near as good as my 3.5mm earphones. It’s also a waste of materials forcing people to not use or throw away perfectly good earphones just because companies want to sell Bluetooth earbuds that lag during movies and game play.Sadly Samsung have followed other trends set by there boring competitors such as:Removal of the notification LED, you still have edge notifications but that never works most of the time. You are better off just using the always on display instead. Removal of the sd card slot, on the smaller Note 10 which was replaced by... Nothing! Or the Note 10 plus, depending how you look at it. The heart rate sensor is gone, this was replaced with... Nothing. Or maybe the galaxy smart watch, depending on how you look at it. It’s disappointing how paying this much for a good smartphone requires you to spend even more to get you the Note 9 experience. Onto the good stuff then. The phone is incredibly smooth and fast to use, thanks to its fast memory. Sound and display look great and the camera software is very good. The 5g version is the best 5g phone there is right now and it will probably only be beaten by the next Note. It’s battery is fantastic and really does last well over a day of heavy use and maybe 2 days of moderate use. Plus you can help out your mates who bought the dot by charging their devices for them and still hold your own decent charge. The new battery software really helps extend life too. Hands free is much improved, callers can hear me loud and clear and you can hear them with clarity. Signal strength is top, the other day I was in a meeting trying to get someone on loudspeaker, everyone else’s phones failed due to sound cutting out, this one just worked. I like the s-pen, I find it quite therapeutic to use. I’ve tried air gestures and it’s good as a remote if you need that function. I don’t think you can go wrong buying this phone. And any negatives are washed away by new features and blazingly fast and efficient performance. If Samsung really aren’t going to put the jack back, maybe they should put 2 usb c ports in its place as that would seriously turn any criticism around. Just think how much better this will become when it gets the Android 10 update.

The screen is stunning. It dominates the front of the phone and everything looks amazing. Even the camera punch-hole isn't intrusive (most of the time; I have expected it to scroll with the page at times)I miss the biometric health scanner. It had the SPO2 function missing on so many watches (e.g. mine). I don't understand its omission (space?)The battery is comparable to the Note9 which could take me through 2 days of fairly heavy use (FHD resolution). The cameras are very good and the new wide-angle lens is a great addition. There's a time-of-flight sensor (DepthVision) which has a companion app called Quick Measure which uses the sensor to measure spatial distances in realtime.Very coolBuild quality is good (as expected) and the rear colours are spectacular. I have Aura Black and unlike most black devices, this is gorgeous. It looks premium. The layout is nice and clean and I love the squared-off corners. The fingerprint scanner is under the screen and very accurate and pretty fast. I hit it most of the timeNothing I've tried has slowed it down and the only time it's got warm is using Power Share (very, very cool)

From the moment i had this phone in my hands i new it was the phone for me. All my expectations were rewarded. Nice and big but remarkably light, gone are the days of the small screen you struggle to read, this is good and i mean good. The clearest, sharpest and unbelievable screen. Very fast no lag everything is done instantly. I played with the camera and i can honestly say its stunning. You may get some uncompromising remarks from the so called experts about the camera compared to other phones but after all its a phone first and a camera second. Everything about the phone in my mind is top notch, build quality second to none and all the latest tech and software inside.I am sure who ever purchases one will not be disappointed. This is my third note phone and without doubt the best.

I've had this phone for 3 to 4 weeks now and it has been quite remarkable, I like the size of the screen, the speed at which it works and some of the facilities. I have not fully worked out how it all works yet but I'm watching many YouTube videos that help understand the phone better. It's ideal for remote working and portability without having to carry a laptop. I bought the white dome glass protector and this is a nice finish however the fingerprints don't always work to unlock the phone however this is not such a big problem as I use face recognition most of the time. I've also bought an ESR case which is very nice especially with the transparent back which shows off the colour of therear.

I love the phone, it's amazing, has decent battery life, looks sick, feels light, and has so many great features, like it's giant display, punch hole camera and S pen. However, this phone is made for power users like me who take advantage of all of it's processing power, and I for one feel that I'm not getting all the power I could get if I had the Snapdragon 855, and not the Exynos 9825 which is a more inferior processor! Samsung has also done this to their flagships for years now too, putting inferior processors into their international phones, and keeping the best processors to the USA, Canada, China and South Korea!

I bought my Note 10 Plus 5G last week and straight away when I used the S pen, It didn't work properly in a small area (2cmx2cm on the bottom right corner) like the pressure or the tilting sensitivity go wrong. You actually can see the little aim dot jumping away in that area in every app even Samsung's. I tried everything what possible, but its still the same. Car phone warehouse going to test it in few days after they got an update, and I hope I got an other because a Note without a proper S pen just worthless especially to me. I am using it every day since my note 8. Everything else is perfect!

Have flipped forwards and backwards between Samsung's and iPhones for a while, my last Samsung being the Note 8 and my most recent phone the iPhone X. I looked at the Samsung 10 plus and the screen was beautiful, better than any I had seen. The features on the Note 10 plus with the S-pen tipped it for me though. Large beautiful screen, 5g connectivity (should it ever reach the South West). The ability to control your photo taking with the s pen and the awesome camera are some of the many features I love. Highly recommended to all. I love my Galaxy Note 10+ 5g 512gb.

So it's my third note and the gap between getting them is about right. I got the 5G cos I keep them for about two years before changing. So what's it like....fast, lots of memory, sdcard for more memory if ya need it, screen is massive, it feels like a quality phone, it is a quality phone. I am a noter, it has cut my work desk clutter down, great for hot deskers....Geekbench 4 score of 4527 single and 10502 multicores...oh it's good. Games and apps no problems so far...love it, so will you.

I am always buying Samsung Galaxy Note series because It's always better than any other brand. It comes with protector on the screen. Don't forget to buy case because it's slippery. I was using note 8 but i upgraded to Note 10 plus. I didn't get note 9 before because it was same as Note 8 but this Note 10 is awesome phone. It's fully updated and the camera is very professional. I wanted to buy blue colour but it's not available which is sad but that's fine. Keep it up Samsung

Been a hardcore Apple fan since the original iPhone so wanted a change and wow I have been blown away with the features, display, easy of use and plus swapping from IOS was made so easy from samsung smart switch. Really absolutely love this new handset and just thinking to myself what have I been doing all these years where there was better. New fan and staying with the galaxy range samsung keep up the great work and building these exceptional handsets. Absolutely love it

Upgraded from an S8 and really pleased I did. Everything about it is just a big step forward, and if you get any of the Samsung wearables (buds / watches) they just seamlessly intergrate with the phone. I got the 512 Gb version and with a 256Gb micros SD card I have so much more space than on any previous phone. Never had a note version but I am really getting to like the stylus. Battery life has not been an issue and it recharges really quick using the stock charger.

The Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G has a huge 6.8 inch HDR display, it makes this the biggest and best Samsung ever! With a long battery life and Samsung's super fast charge. The S pen boast some tricks and is very handy to make them quick notes. The 5G combines power and detail for an incredible browsing experience. Download movies in seconds and load web pages instantly. 256gb storage capacity with potential to increase that even more with the expandable memory card.

This is a truly great smartphone with great screen, storage, camera, battery life and other features. Bizarrely, the one thing that it doesn't do so well is be a telephone. Often when it rings the screen goes blank/black and I can't find the phone screen in time to pick up the call, so have to call the caller back. Sometime same during a call, often difficult to find the phone screen to control the call. I think this may be an android rather than Samsung issue?

Brought the phone on the release day as my note 8's battery was driving me mad (I wouldn't probably thought of getting a new phone if it wasn't for this). So happy to have moved on to this device though. Battery easily lasts even with some major use. (my daughter nabs it to play games if we go any where too far in the car.) Also I never really was impressed with my old camera on the phone. But this one is noticeably better and I have been using it.

So the main question is "is 5g worth it currently" answer is "most probably not". Yes there is the area coverage concerns but throw into the mix that this is the first gen stab at 5G tech you probably should just stick to the Note 10+ version. The phone itself is really good, if your used to samsung phones (interface, design) then you know what your getting. The display is pretty flawless and S pen is fab if you would use it.
