Firstly they came 3 days earlier than expected which was nice, well done Amazon, the ones I have also came with clear plastic covers which I believe were for standing them on after use, however they are a loose fit.I found that the can tops of aerosol cans are the ideal thing for collecting residue from them, I have a few automatic battery operated aerosol sprays and find that the generic cans fit and work well, these are the ones that fit the grinders, I also bought a wooden base so have stuck the can tops in it with double sided adhesive tape and they are very stable.I had already bought 8 rechargeable batteries and found that they fitted without problem, evidently other grinders will not accept them,

Im a lover of kitchen gadgets and this set replaces my existing battery powered salt and pepper set from the same brand.The model I had was the12051-56 which I cant remember when I bought.This upgraded model is so meticulously thought out I wpuld have given it 6 rather than 5 stars as I am so impressed with it and it is rare for me to find no fault with something, however minor.Why it is so much better than my one and why it is a great salt and pepper battery operated set;The elegant waist like shape wihich is easy to hold has a brushed steel rather than plastic button ( the previous obe had a mock metal button with plastic underneath ), and te ease with which the various parts undo and come together,

These look beautiful, very sleek, with just a slight taper towards the top to give you a gentle nod towards the traditional shape of pepper grinders.The stainless steel construction gives them an almost professional appearance.The small clear window allows you to see what it is you are grinding as the grinders are identical in appearance.The push button is great for those who struggle with grip/turning etc as it takes very little dexterity to get these grinding.The light is on the surface a bit of fun, illuminating the area which you are seasoning, but it also shows you exactly how much salt you are using and this often leads to a feeling that one ought to cut down on it.The grinders take 4 AA batteries each - 8 for the set,

I have bought electronic mills before so wanted to try these by Russell Hobbs. I like these Russell Hobb ones as they improve on areas where the current types I have lacks. I like the three sections which are independent of each other. The battery housing is separated from the mill which means batter can be changed without having to dismantle the entire mill. The canister is separated from the body also which makes it easy to fill. The canister has a nice wide opening for easy filling.There is a LED light under the mill which is a useful feature. There is a option to adjust the coarseness of the grind by rotating the base. Included is a very needed base plate to store the mill. This collects excess grind.

I have been thinking about trying these but was worried that maybe they were not as good as they are made out to be but i can say that i was wrong,they are stainless steal salt and pepper grinders which are powered by 4 AA batteries each, they have adjustable grind size and have plastic covers over the ends to stand the grinders on when on the table,they have a clear section so you can see how much salt or pepper is left in them when you need to refill, they are so easy to fill to just twist the body apart and fill,twist back together again and off you go,they are so very smart as well when sitting on the table not sure why i waited so long.

Very sleek, shiny and stylish, these really look great at the dinner table and can be adjusted through a simple turn of the bottom section to achieve a full range of particles from coarse to fine. Both need 4 AA batteries which are not included. This was surprising to me, I'm used to big brand manufacturers like this including batteries with their products and was irritated that this was not the case. Fortunately I have a back up drawer for cases like this, and I'm hoping the batteries won't need changing too often.Will be buying a set for my elderly mother-in-law because the one touch activation is ideal for those with arthritis and the LED illumination at the base showing how much you're actually using will be a boon for her also,

These are beautiful in appearance - and matching apart from the clear window so you can differentiate between your salt and your pepper.Instead of the "normal" twisting action required you simple press the button and hey presto! Each grinder is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included - and you'll need to get decent ones) - these also power a small light which shows you the area you are seasoning. You can even change the settings depending on how coarse you like your seasoning.It's easy to take apart (whether it be to refill or change the batteries) and each even has it's own little disc/dish to sit on so you don't leave trails of salt and pepper all over the table.This set would make a stunning

These are great looking and preform well whilst grinding salt and pepper. The coarseness of the grind is easily adjusted with a simple turn of the bottom section this is marked with + and - so you know which way is which.Each one holds a good amount of salt and pepper so wont need filling up too often.They are each powered by 4 x AA batteries, what I have found is using cheap batteries is a complete waste of time as they just don't have the power to drive it properly and on a fine grind they cant manage at all to a point of actually stopping, so get some good quality ones!The light on the bottom is also a nice touch.

Came well wrapped and after reading up settled for Russell hobbs.Easy to set up unscrew top and put in 4 aa batteries. There is an arrow for open and close.Down the middle arrow for open close and fill the compartments. Line up and close.On the bottom is a plus and minus where you can adjust how coarse or fine you want each condiment.Come with two plastic stand to sit on.To use push top and out pepper or salt comes. Also led light that comes on to see where your putting salt/pepper.Wonder how long the led light will last? Would not think that can be replaced.

These pepper and salt mills came well packed. There are no batteries and they require in total 8 AA batteries for the pair. That was a little mean really. The mills are sleek and nice to handle. The window reveals how much salt/pepper are there and a light at the base helps you see how much salt/pepper that you are dispensing. The grain size is variable which is a good things. Nice to hold and easy on the hands and wrists if you have issues with the grinding action of normal mills.Nice set, it's a shame about the batteries though, hence 4* not 5*.

I've been wanting electric mills for a while and wanted to make sure that I bought good ones. As such, I did some research before buying these. The only negative reviews that I read were around their ability to grind pepper properly. I can honestly say that I've had no problem with this whatsoever.The mills are easy to use, effective at grinding and easy to re-fill. They're also quite stylish!It's also worth mentioning that I've been using these daily for about 4-5 months now and I've not yet had to change the batteries!

These are a replacement for a cheaper electronic set by another maker that have failedWhat a difference.LED lights so fewer batteries that will hopefully last longer and the grinders themselves, are much more powerful and can be adjusted from fine to very coarseOn our previous set you had to hold the button down for a least a second to get the required amount of salt or pepper out. Now I have to be very careful as just a quick press will supply more than enough.Very very pleased, excellent grinders

I got these for a relative who has trouble using their hands, and according to them, they are brilliant.One thing i have to mention is the battery type to use. Regular batteries you find on the high street that don't recharge didn't seem to last all that long.So i bought some Eneloop Pro batteries and they really do a good job. Plus they are rechargeable.Yes, i just gave a plug for eneloop batteries on a review for salt and pepper grinders.You can buy them here:

I bought it because my previous one broke and as I have a lot of other things from Russel Hobbs I decided to try this one. I read a lot of the comments and some of them weren't good bud I decided to give it a try. And I wasn't disappointed. The grinder is very good, it is quiet, very stylish and looks perfectly on the table. The grind button is very sensitive so there is no need to push it hard. I can't say anything wrong about this one.

This product works really well, looks stylish and would look good on any table.Keeps one hand free for doing other things whilst cooking etc.Uses 4 AA batteries depends how long the mills work to how many times you use and wear the batteries down.The only 1 downside i can see, is the Mills sit on a collector which could do with being a click on design as you go to pick them up and these fall off the bottom.
