I have never written a review for a product before, but this has to be one of the best toys around. My 8 year old son quickly managed to get the hang of the controls and is able to fly the helicopter with amazing accuracy all around the house, up the stairs and into different rooms. Yes, it crashes occasionally but this thing is as tough as nails! It just gets back up and off it goes again. Very occasionally one of the blades comes off, but this is easily re-fixed. He's had it now for 4 months and plays with it every single day. So far we haven't had to use any of the spare rotor blades. It uses 4 AA size batteries and the helicopter "docks" on the controller to recharge.

It’s very durable. It’s been crashed into walls, ceilings and all sorts while I’ve been getting the hang of flying it and you can’t even tell. It’s a nice little helicopter for your first one it even has a little search light at the front but it is a shame with how little flying time you get with it. But for the £14 helicopter it is very good quality in terms of how it looks and the durability. It makes it even more worth it as with one controller you can fly both helicopters if you’re ever skilled enough to keep track of them both!

Bought this for my nephews birthday. It is tricky to handle at first & not something l can recommend for an 8yr old. The charging is difficult as you need to place it on top on the controller. If the charge in the helicopter is low it crashes & doesnt take off properly. No indication of it being on low charge until this happens, 4x AA batteries for the controller are needed. 5mins fly time, 30mins charging. It is fun once you get the hang of it. I would buy it again.

This is extremely robust. My kids crash theirs constantly without damage. It takes a little getting used to but flies very nicely one you have got the hang of it - a rewarding challenge for my 5 year-old. One criticism is that there is only one channel available (not 2 as the box suggests) so you can only fly one at a time. However, for the price it is a great product.

Absolutely incredible RC (Remote Control) chopper, first one that's ever lasted longer than an hour. The search light is a great added bonus, it could pick up a stranded sole in the depth of the Pacific. Control is responsive and the speed is quicker than my diesel golf. All in all, a fantastic present.Personally would recommend. Will be ordering a couple more.
