Kool RC toy.... bought for my 5 year old .... but probably played with it more myself. ?I got it from Amazon for around £24 so was well worth the money.Good range from controller to toy unlike some Rc toys.Main unit rechargeable which is good. Not constantly feeding it batteries.Quite kool how it transforms for the water.Wouldnt advise taking it to any large area of water..... stick to large Puddles (frm Scotland ?)..... or small shallow pond. Jst incase you end up sh**t creek without power?

The Air Hogs Thunder Trax RC vehicle is a toy for all of the family. As expected it works well in all terrains, however it does lose power quite quickly, especially in water to be aware of this if using in a park pond or you may find yourself wading out to retrieve it! The remote is light and very simple to operate The vehicle itself is to be charged with a USB charger - the lead is supplied but is short.Lots of fun for all ages & would make a great gift for any child...... or partner.

This is really good value for money. It is durable and can go on any surface. My son loves it and is not disappointed at all! This is one of the best remote control toys that we have by a mile. My seven year old didn’t need any help to get it going, which was a relief especially over Christmas when the only thing you want to do is to drink wine and let the kids entertain themselves. It needs charging after a while, but only because the terrain it travels on requires a lot of battery.

My 7 year old boy had this for his birthday and was made up! The battery life isn't great - it lasts for about 15 minutes but to be honest it's never an issue as he loves to play with it for around that amount of time before moving on to something else. I've heard others say that this can be a problem on water though so just be aware when using that it may run out so ensure closer to the edge in the later minutes!!! Having said all this, it's great fun and seems very sturdy!

The car works well in water with good steering capacity and the transformation works very well as well. On land it can do most of the terrain, especially without problems on paved areas and grass. We went a bit to extreme in the sand pit and some sand got stuck in the 'wheels' which made one side work slower and the vehicle going only around in circles. But after a good wash in the lake (Great that it is waterproof) it worked fine again. Battery life could be a bit longer.

This toy proved to be a great hit with my 9yr old granddaughter who spent much time playing with it on tarmac first of all, then grass and now on the beach. It is easy to control and simple to manoeuvre. Understandably it does tend to go slower in longer grass but on the beach and pavements it can move quite fast. The only slight frustration is that the battery life is not particularly long and does need frequent recharging but this doesn't take too much time to complete.

We have had several RC cars over the years but this is a clear family favourite. The car is really good at travelling over trickier terrain, but the highlight is the ability to transform it into a boat simply by pressing a button, and it moves very well on water. This is a brilliant feature and quite unique to any other RC toys we have owned. The only downside is that it only lasts 10-15 mins before needing recharged, however this didn't affect my children's enjoyment.

Despite some negative reviews I read for this product, my feedback for this product is very positive: my son (9y) is very happy with it. The batteries indeed don't last too long, but with the patient span of a kid they last long enough. It moves rapidly and the change in water is very easy. The only part I am too happy with it is that it is very easy to press the "change" button by mistake, also it does not click so you cannot be sure you have pressed it enough or not.

This RC all terrain tank/boat is great fun for my daughter. She likes it a lot.It goes on all surfaces, we tried it inside and outside and even in water.+ the vehicle has a internal chargeable battery+drives on all surfaces, even water+it's well built-the radio controllers batteries run out very fast-we couldn't manage to make it transform into a boat by pushing the button on the controller, we do it manuallyEven it has some minuses I would recommend it

The kids loooove it! It is robust, can go almost anywhere and it's easy to control! The run time, after a full charge, is an exciting 8-15 minutes depending on the terrain the kids selected and the frequency of stops on route. More battery life would be great, however, the fun you get out of the 8-15 minutes is worth waiting for!!! Laminate, carpet, grass, dirt, it don't matter 'coz the thunder trax just keeps on rolling ... and I am a super dad again! :-)

THIS TOY IS FABULOUS! It drives over everything and the tank mode is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! The little down part though is charge. When going on hard surfaces it only lasts 10 minutes. ( P.S the red flashing on control just means its not on full power tank will stop moving when lost all charge.) When you put it on normal surfaces it lasts up to half an hour!!! Overall I think its a nice car. Better than the other ones anyway. Very unique as well

Had lots of fun using this tank with my 10 and 12 year old. Making obstacles for it to easily drive over and under. Easy to control, drives on grass in the garden. Transforms to a boat at the push of a button and is great fun in water. Downsides are the battery doesn't last long once fully charged and for the price it would have been better if the charger wire was a bit longer and it had an adapter to plug into the socket instead of on a laptop

This was bought for our 9 year old grandson, and he loved it.He opened it on Christmas day and was able to play that afternoon. The vehicle needed time to charge its (rechargable) battery . . . but you could get away with half an hour for a first play. But remember to buy batteries for the hand controller!!!!!!!!!!!No idea about the ability to change mode (land to water) as he didn't get to play in the wet whilst we were with him.

My 7 year old love this, but after 10-15 minutes of play you're having to charge it again. Takes a while to charge to full level, Not worth taking out on a walk because of the battery life but works well in the water and my son loves it when it 'transforms' in the water, has been knocked about a few times so pretty resilient. Only issue is such a poor battery life- considering the price you'd expect a bit longer play time.

This is a great RC car. Performs on water as good if not better than it does on land. The battery life is about 30 minutes. My 5 year old absolutely loves this tank/ boat. He especially loves pressing one button and transforming the tank into a boat once he's driven it into the water. The tank will also drive over most surfaces. So far we've tried tarmac, grass, cobbles and gravel. Great fun.
