Bought this for my son as he really wanted a mini chopper.The thing that i love about this item is that it has the protective cage around it.I was worried at first as i know these are very easy to break and at this size most of them are in door only toys.The only thing i have to worry about is the house!He smashes this thing all over the house , in the wall, ceiling and the thing just keeps bouncing back for more.Although it does seem quite robust the parts do look like they are made very cheap.To work it you put a load of AA batteries in the controller, then pull the little wire and plug our from the side of the controller and this goes into the side of the chopper.A little light flashes on

I felt I had to write a review in defence of this little roller copter. I reluctantly bought it for my 9 year old son for Christmas after reading the bad reviews as it was the main present he asked for.It was such a relief when it actually worked and it works well! We bought rechargeable batteries because it does go through them. When fully charged it works brilliantly, flies across the room, up walls etc. My son is still (13th Jan) permanently attached to it, he can do tricks and make it land into his hand. It has landed badly many times but not broken even though it does seem flimsy. Not sure why all the bad reviews, maybe we just got a good one?!

Great fun for out doors, but a nightmare to actual control it. How you steer this damn thing I do not know, all we were capable of is sending it straight up high & then running round like mad things trying to catch it (half the fun of it!). On the bright side it is robust & well made - it took several impacts from heights well over 10-15m without issue.The controller needs to be carefully lined up to send the IR signals, something that took us a while to suss. You do need to 'follow' the copter up with the remote, as the slightest deviation will cause the signal to drop.

So much fun and easy to fly according to my 8 year old son.Nice and robust- has taken many crashes to the ground and still in perfect condition. Rolling up the wall and across the ceiling takes a bit of practice, but once you've mastered that, you'll be able to do it perfectly every time.Batteries lasting well, the copter plugs into the controller to charge up and takes roughly 20 mins to get a full charge which gives around 8 mins of play (which is actually pretty good compared to other things that we have had that charge in this way)

Perfectly flys is quiet resistance to falls as long as some precaution is made when shutting off power at a hight. I wouldn't reccomend this for any lower age than recommended as can still be quiet fragile but I think more than worth its value. Plenty of fun hours with precision flying along the ceiling, walls, floor and anything else you can imagine ?

This is great, you buy different variations of these things for Christmas presents every year and they never seem to be able to do what they say on the tin, this one however does!!! It fly's around, goes up walls and around ceilings! The recipient was more than impressed with this!

Mmmmm wot can I sayBought our son this as he requested it and half way through Xmas day it stopped working. He was really upset. Amazon sent another & I returned faulty one but tbh it's very expensive for what it is. Cheaply madeEats batteries for fun too

Bought for 6 year old, probably a bit young for it. Charges quickly. Flies well. Turns itself off when crashes to earth. Difficult to trim flight control - seems to be an endless range of adjustment. I enjoy it, but 6 year-old gets frustrated.

I bought this item for my little boy for xmas, it was a bit tricky in the beginning, so I went on YouTube for some instructions and it worked perfectly! My 7 year old loves it too, just think it is a bit pricey.

Son loves it but took a while to work out directions it moves. Only problem we had was the charge doesn't last very long and end up having to charge it longer than it gets played with. Overall a good buy.

Bought this for sons Christmas present. He's seen this advertised on TV and cant wait to have a go himself. It looks very robust unlike the previous helicopter I bought (which lasted about half an hour!)

Fun little toy, battery life is good. Very difficult for a 6 year old to fly...mainly because of the distinct delay between releasing the throttle and the copter actually responding to it.

We love this, bought for 11year old and her dad. bring great fun. i like how it is encaged because I'm sure it would have broken by now. I got 2 and had no problem with either one.

I order that as a gift, but it looks very cool and perfect and in a good condition!!! Wonderful toy, enjoyable for all family and different age kids!!!

Very disappointed with this item,it was a Christmas for my 8 year old grandson and although he was thrilled with it it keeps falling to bits.
