When this first arrived I thought - wow what a rip off, its really alot smaller than I had imagined and the one we received was red not yellow as shown in the image.....but then I took it home for my little girl for whom it was a 10th birthday present.We loaded in the 4 AA batteries in to the controlled and attached the helicopter to the charger cord and left it to charge up - I thought this would take ages but, with in a few minutes my husband and little girl had this flying around the room.It was brilliant fun and the little helicopter takes such a bashing - it was flown in to walls light fittings and my head several times.It is not the easiest thing to master and the dog really is not a huge fan but it was so much fun.My little girl is over the moon with this and has now mastered landing it on the furniture. This is a great toy and although it looks tiny in the box I would highly recommend this as a must have for christmas - seriously get one now even if you don't have kids it is the best fun and my husband and I continued to mess around with it after the kids went to bed!The only downside and this I am sure has ALOT to do with a serious lack of flying skills and nothing to do with the little fly crane its self is two fold - the first issue is that it can be hard to turn and in a domestic setting this can mean you crash it ALOT, but it is sturdy and will take a bashing. The second issue is that it is very hard to pick any thing up with the crane as the extra weight makes it unstable, but like I said this is probably down to horrendous flying skills and not a fault with the product.We are about to hire out the local village hall to see what this bad boy can do!!!

I bought two of these for my sons aged 5 and 8. They seem to be easy to fly, my kids picked it up after one showing from their Dad. They've had lots of fun and even though they crash they don't break. The product came within a few days of ordering them and in plenty of time for Christmas.

This is quite light weight and I could see it being damaged by younger kids. My 11yr old soon got the hang of steering this around and was able to control hovering etc. Can be used inside without too much risk of broke things!! It does not hold its charge very long so but is good fun.

Easier on batteries than I expected.Difficult to control, but that is the challenge of the toy.It seems to be taking the battering it gets rather well, frequent crashes but still in one piece!

bought this for my sons birthday...I use it more haha. tricky to pick up baskets though. flies for about 10 mins and takes 10 mins to charge. top fun!!

Great remote control helicopter for children. It still hasn't broke and my son crashes it all the time. Very hardwaring.
