Review of Air Hogs 6040305 Hyper Drift DroneGot this because I thought it would be a nice bit of fun and generally it is.The drone was quick to set up and worked well enough in the hover attached mode on the kitchen floor but I do admit it is a bit tricky to control sometimes and I crashed into pretty much everything in the kitchen.Detaching it is where the real fun is and having never tried a drone I thought this would be an interesting starting point. Seeing it lift off and pop off toward the ceiling is a lot of fun, of course I then instantly managed to crash land. It has a crash cage so you shouldn’t break anythingIf you have pets then you may pick up hair around the rotor blades as I did.

I got this for my grandsons, their dad set it up and tried it out, must be good as he was "setting it up " for quite a while lol it certainly was whizzing about much faster than I imagined it wouldAltogether they all enjoyed it and even though several crashes later it was still working, I have it here for when they visit, even I got the hang of it

For the price this is a great "drone" for kids up to, maybe, ten years old. The propellers safely whir away behind plastic guards which makes it safer and stops damage when the thing (inevitably...) crashes. Great fun.

Very easy to set up, works on both surface and in the air. My son loves it. It is very light so you do need to handle it with care. Very good introductory product to world of drones at an affordable price.

grandson loved it but i was a bit annoyed to see that there was no spare blades and it is costing me another £12 plus to get these

Hours of fun for a 10 year old. Would give it 5 stars if the battery lasted longer.
